Sounds like a Raptor. Definitely one of the better sounding Ecoboost systems that I've heard. In my opinion that is. Build quality looks really nice too.

Sounds nice. My 2.7 is brand new and I’m enjoying the silence for now since my work truck rattles so much I have to wear earplugs, but at some point the exhaust will need to be changed just because it can be. This is now on the list of options. Thanks.

A really great video.Thank You for that.The truck sounded good at the end when it was just idling.When you revved it up not so much. I guess I was expecting more of a deeper tone,but I’m sure once it gets broken in that could change. I think I have the V-8 sound rattling around in my head so I guess I will have to get use to a 2.7 tone. I want the same setup that you have but with chrome tips.Your truck really looks good.

Looks really nice and super high quality!! Sounds great too! Modern v6s on trucks sound so much better than the 90s v6s that are low revving and ugly sounding engines lol all you need is the raptor bumper!!

I got the awe performance single side exit on my 16 f150 5.0 with the dual black tips and non res pipe and its soo nasty!! Best sound ever. But mine does have drone at times under load running in sport. Running it normal OD not as much because it's in the higher gear most of the time. But it's not terrible and I still love it!! High quality stainless steel and clamps!!

I wish I would have seen this. I have an 18 supercrew short box with the 5.0. I have the Flowmaster American Thunder on it. Drone is not too bad with the 10 speed. When you get on it is loud.

Thank You! Now that you've had it installed for a few months, what's your thoughts on the change/sound/performance from stock? Has there been any issues, especially with the heat being close to the spare? I like my 2.7 F150. I just rolled over 15K miles and liked what I heard and seen on your video. Keep doing what you do.

I still really like it, definitely happy with it but I will say now I wish it was just a little louder once it warms up. Unless you really get on it once its warm it's not too loud. No issues at all. I will say I'm going to be adding spd downpipes which will also add to the loudness so well see how that affects it then

I watched the same video at the same time as you and it was still a close tie with borla and the interior clip wasn't impressive because as they agreed with me that while in motion, it sounded like a diesel idling. Which is why I debating on borla or corsa

Nice sound. Do the alpha Rex lights you have alter the daytime running lights or the auto brights? Are they easy to install?

No, same as factory and yes pretty easy install. The hardest part is getting an add a fuse and putting it in

I really want to see more videos on the 10 speed 2.7 ecoboost with exhausts because from what ive seen, all aftermarket exhausts sound ricey as hell at over 3k rpm which i rarely see with my 10 speed

Love the clean install. Everything looks great front to back. I know everyone loves the v8 sound and you cant reproduce it with the ecoboost, but the sound you get from this one sounds really good. My son has the 3.5 and he ended up putting on a flowmaster which gave it some sound compared to stock. Everyone has an opinion on exhaust for ecoboosts, but you have to be happy with what you put on it. Great video.....

The driver's side tail pipe comes close (real close) to the spare. With no heat shield on that side to protect the spare , I see some problems coming up with damage to the spare from that hot pipe running much too close to it.

NOOOOOO not you wickedf150!! 😂 one simply does not mess with the ecoboost exhaust, and I'm a huge ecoboost fan. Sure some sound great at low RPMs or idling but pretty much all sound lil e doo doo on wot and high rpm's. Ahhhh Man haha With all that being said that AWE is the best one I've heard so far, without the resinator, and if I had to do an exhaust that would be it 👍 It's crazy how much better the non resonated one sounds compared to the factory and awe resinator. Not gonna lie I've got their (awe) video saved and listen to it every so often since they first released it

You are exactly right, u cant get away from that v6 sound all together but this one I felt got away from it more than others and had to add a little sound lol I definitely agree with the big difference with the resonator, I wasn't thrilled with that. On some you get so much drone without and I cant have that with all the highway driving and their 180 tech really works. Got to cruising speed yesterday and it was great! If you do decide to get one I'd definitely get awe!

I would of course go with AWE, I think that is has the perfect amount of loudness(pushing wake your neighbors), sounds great and no drone. The atak is of course wake your neighbors but some say it does have drone which no one wants. Love the outlaw for a 5.0 but idk about for a 3.5.

Just a wondering, and please understand this isn't a criticism at all, But have you figured out the expenses for everything you've done thus far? The reason I'm asking is simple if you wanted a Raptor, Why didn't you just buy one, instead of re-shaping an F150? Did the costs equal out? or did you save some money turning an F150 into a Raptor? Just seems like a lot to go through, When you could have bought one. On the other hand, the truck is somewhat unique.

The only things that have changed that a raptor has stock is the steering wheel($250) and the front bumper(roughly $1000 total). So yea 1250 is way better than n extra 20g.

I have a 2015 Lincoln Navigator with a 3.5 EcoBoost... I noticed that so many are commenting on the sound of the different exhaust systems out there for these... Which is nice to find one that does sound good... However... I am considering an aftermarket exhaust for improved performance... The sound is what it is... Just needs to be a good acceptable tone... Everyone has there own opinion as to what sounds good to them... IS there a noticable change in the performance such as better turbo response as well as better overall performance... Or...Is it just a louder exhaust... Thanks...

The only noticeable change is it now holds gears a little longer...not sure why that is...before the lift the butt dyno did feel as if it had just a tad bit more stepping on it.

Now that you have had it on for a while how would you say the drone is at hwy speeds? I had a 2016 5.0 with a Flowmaster American thunder and as much as I liked it around town it droned horribly on the hwy. Now that I have a 2019 2.7 this might be the way to go?

Its the best sound ive heard on a 2.7 by far, i got the outlaw flowmaster because i did not hear this before flowmaster is nice and ok a little bit of drone Inside the cab gotten used to it and i like my flowmaster but This awe is “bitchin” cool sound thanks for the good vids 👍

Sounds good! I don't know why so many people get hung up on it needing to sound like a v8. It's not a v8, but that doesn't mean it can't sound like a good v6. Maybe it's just because I've owned v8's, v6's, and I-4's that I can appreciate each for what they are.

My only comment is those end caps should extend a little bit further out away from the jumper. On that white bumper,the exhaust will leave a stain on a period of time.

You just took your wicked F150 into a whole nother parallel universe. I personally don't think you should have done that. But that's me. If you're happy that's all that matters. It doesn't sound like a ricer, it sounds 10X worse. I'm in Texas so I'm sticking with a gearhead auto octane tune on my 2018 3.5 instead of going to Hennessy because I don't have that kind of cash. But seriously man. I personally think you need to take that exhaust off and keep it sleeper status. You want to make noise? Install a sundown audio in a premium tuned box like mine. You hear my 3.5 coming from a mile away and it's not my exhaust making the noise.
