Great Review our Universe Leaders!!! I have yet to try a batch proof Woodford and never had a George T. Stagg. I've been on a mission for over a year LOL!!

Great video, could you explain your medal system? Like how many you have and what the score range for each would be. I recently had some Woodford batch proof and using a score of 1-10, I have it an 8.6. Thanks.

I have a bottle of this I haven't cracked yet and I loved the previous iteration. That being said I can't shake the feeling that this is a little overpriced. In my area the regular Woodford is $33. I understanding this is effectively a small batch iteration of that same juice at barrel/batch proof. (I know its not labeled a small batch, but its production run is way smaller than the standard one and I would assume they are not just grabbing random barrels.) But 4x the price of the regular expression seems a little much, nice bottle or no...then again I paid it anyway.

So this might be a while back to remember but - i can still get an old bottle style woodford batch proof. - the 2018 one at 125.8 proof. How do these old ones stack up to these new bottles? Were they of equal quality? Thank you.

Cheapest I’ve seen this bottle for is $130 and I just can’t do it. Stagg Jr bottles sit on the shelf around here for that same secondary price and Bardstown Discovery, which is incredible and like 15+yo whiskey, is $130 MSRP. Is WRBP that good? Sounds like it’s close but I think the budget whiskey name messes me up.

I just scored a bottle of Woodford Batch Proof, but immediately realized that it wasn't the same bottle shape as the one in this video. A quick search revealed that it's actually the 2020 bottle. Cool?! I wonder what it's like compared to the 2021.

Most of the Batch Proof bottles are pretty tasty. Very full bodied and full of flavor. Some drink a bit hotter (too hot for some people), but all are really solid in our opinion.

Yeah this doesnt stand out. And to compare it to Stagg is an insult to Stagg. LOL. This is a young whiskey. Stagg is 15 years old. Elijah Craig Barrel Proof come closer to Stagg than this does IMO and is half the price of this non-age stated Woodford. good breakdown fellas.

I did a personal blind between 2020 woodford batch and 2018 GTS and I could not tell the difference
