I think Sauvage is best suited for outdoors whereas Carbon seems more conducive for indoors

Yup agree, if you are outdoors get the Sauvage EDT as it really projects and leaves this wonderful scent trail. If you're indoors or in the office, Carbon is the better choice. I once wore 6 sprays of Sauvage EDT to a meeting, the whole meeting room from one corner to another smelled like Sauvage lol.

Prada's scents are very mass appealing and I prefer it to even all my niche bottles, fave designer house hands down and carbon is my favourite scent of all, it's hard to get bored of it for me smelling it throughout the day. This one's a masterpiece imo.

@@yasssssok7319 you get nose blind to it quickly. It lasts around 2 hours projection and 5 hours ish longevity on 3 sprays and with 5 sprays you could increase that. I also noticed I get nose blind to it in an hour then get whiffs from time to time

I commented on one of your Top 10 videos and said the same thing. In comparison to Sauvage, seems like the Ambroxan takes a couple steps back and the lavender steps forward. It is very well blended and I reach for this all the time now over Sauvage. Love this stuff!!

Prada is known for using top class, high quality ingredients, that's probably the reason non of their fragrances smell synthetic.

This is a very accurate review. I tested them side by side at Sephora and I own Sauvage. Sauvage is way more potent, has better projection and sillage. Luna Rossa is definitely smoother. Sauvage is more aimed at attracting those around you. Luna Rossa Carbon is aimed at the wearer For the difference in price, Luna Rossa Carbon is a very well done version and had I not already owned Sauvage, I would buy it.

Owned both gave the Sauvage to my son. Carbon can be worn at work without offending anyone. I work in a hospital setting.

I love Carbon more then sauvage. Sauvage I can't stand the heavy kick in the nose upon application. Carbon has an awesome dry down. Your significant other would love to put her head on your chest and smell carbon. I think sauvage would last better in winter. I get blind to the scent after some time in carbon so not sure if anybody can smell it off me. Has anyone tried mixing the 2?

i tried both for about a week and went with the Sauvage, the Carbon does not last more than an hour. If they could give it a bump of longevity it would be amazing but right now personally the Dior goes for hours!

Prada is very sweet smelling and a bit less masculine than savage. It reminds me of expensive hand soap mixed with a very bright and sweet smelling kick. I'm still looking for the best hot summer fragrance that will last

Another great content review Dallas, I tested it out Sauvage at my local Macy's store, didn't like sharp metallic opening in the Sauvage and not really fan of Sauvage that's my opinion, I might try and test it out Carbon, or get the Bleu de Chanel Parfum version instead and have a great, amazing, blessed, positive, productive and safe week

How would you compare it to Dylan blue?

John Tran not too alike at all. In my opinion this is much better than Dylan blue. Dylan blue has a very fruity side to it, and of course the Ambroxan. That’s probably the only thing that’s the same in these fragrances, from carbon I get a major soil/earthy note in the dry down with the ambroxan

people were saying it is similar to sauvage.. i was not getting it.. then I got a sauvage EDP on paper.. took home.. and smelled it... then YES now i get it.. it is similar to sauvage EDP.. now it makes sense... because to sauvage EDT i was not getting it which is actually interesting.. since EDP came after carbon.. so I guess sauvage is the one that copied and made similar to carbon.. hahaha

What is your girlfriend's opinion? I've got a sample back in 2017 when LRC was released. I don't think in gender in terms of fragrances, but for me as a woman LRC comes of smoother. Trying to get my hands on a bottle.

I've bought Carbon twice now and get lots of compliments from it. I tried Sauvage on the tester papers you get and I couldn't really smell it. So now I'm worried to go buy a bottle. I'm also looking at Dylan Blue which is another supposed crowd pleaser. I work behind a bar so smelling great really helps with tips.

@@Jeff-xv6gk . it depends on the situation you are using it for. Carbon is not as loud as Sauvage, and as Chaos said, it doesnt have the sharp piercing as Sauvage.

I had bought Carbon first, Smells great but has terrible performance. It quickly faded, not even an hour on my skin. I returned it and got Sauvage instead, have no regrets.

On my skin carbon doesn’t smell too similar to sauvage, but instead smells like coach platinum. Honestly not a fan of either coach p or carbon. They both give me a headache. On the other hand I love the smell of sauvage. Idc about the hate, it smells great and gets the job done
