I’ve been watching you guys almost from the beginning; sometimes I would feel like yelling through the screen to suggest a better alternative to your process but you’ve always come through. I’m in my 70’s, I’ve built several homes over years as a contractor; this project with the small vanity reminded me of the same situation I had to deal a couple of years ago in our “new to us” home. You did a better job of than I did. You’ve both really done good with everything.

Seeing Bo ooh and ahhh at the fridge made me realize that she's never lived in a regular house. It's awesome that she's had this experience of living in different circumstances and being so adaptable.

Water is the foundation of life. We can’t live without it. Even though it was a frustrating hurdle, you got it done like a champ! And Kenzie’s slap on your butt was your reward! And at the end when Beau was acting like she was “fixing” something on the sink melted my heart! 😍

I remember a video from a while ago where Spenser removed three snakes to the nearby wood. People were commenting saying you should kill them. I'm so glad you are still ignoring those comments. Teaching your kids to respect wildlife and not kill it is by far the best way, nowadays more than ever. Kudos!!

15:40 a Dremel is just one of those tools that every handy man should have in the collection, it's such a great tool for all the fine and up close tasks, would have made quick and easy work of that.

Spencer...you should have used an oscillating tool with a (plunge cut) saw blade for your P-trap pipe hole. Its the single best tool I own... its saved me hundreds of hours of construction time!!! Keep up the great work!

In front of me, I'm going to break out a new scanner that's been sitting in my office for weeks, if not months, so I can set it up, feeling a bit anxious about it. Meanwhile, Spencer is in the third year of single-handedly orchestrating the build of an entire living quarters, all aspects of it, putting out fires along the way. I remain in awe of his craftmanship.

Spencer, you are such a perfectionist, it is no wonder the house is looking so good. Bask in the glow, you have earned it.

The Dremel Multi Max would have saved your life with that cut in the bathroom vanity. I bought one for installing a new bathroom vanity so I wouldn't have to remove the baseboard trim and it saved me so much time. Wondering now how I lived so long without one. House is looking great. Keep up the good work!

If it is going to be a while before countertops are installed just get some plywood and make some. I have also used Cedar fence boards installed with one layer long ways and the other from front to back. The edges might need trimming to smooth them out but once the edges are clean it is an almost invisible seam. It sands out beautifully. Smells great and can take water all day long.

Water in the bathrooms! You know, when I watch the intro, I often think how far you two have come on your build. The projects, small setbacks, raising the kids and such, and I say to myself, how beautiful. Now, you are on the homestretch, rounding the corner to completion!! I congratulate your success so far, and anticipate the conclusion. Kudos!

I remember when I ripped up all the old baseboard in our house prior to having the hardwood refinished. It's gonna really finish things off nicely when you have the floor, door & window trim all done.

I love watching you KIDS, been watching since the beginning, watching you install your new frig....we had the identical one as you, it only lasted 8 years, stopped working and technician could not fix it. So we had to purchase a new frig. The technician told us they have the most trouble with LG. Good, now you tell us when our whole kitchen is outfitted with LG. Hope you have better luck. Congratulations on your new home. It's quite nice; however, I recommend you consider replacing the "pine-colored" floors with a greyish-blue slate-type floor. I suggest you get a few samples and place each next to the entry-way door at the end of your hallway. I believe an interior design professional would recommend no more than three colors that match. The existing floor would be good for your barn. Good Luck.

Best way to cut a odd shaped hole for the plumbing or any hole neatly, is to use a holesaw both ends of the cut and use a oscillating multi tool or jigsaw to join the two holes together! Great job on the whole property
