Ahhhh, Betty Lynn, a voice like no other!! Thank you so much for posting!

Ah Serenity!!! The woman’s voice just does it for me and it kills me that she hasn’t been on Broadway in a new musical since-thank you as always for posting!

I saw this in previews in the Fall of 1997 and it blew me away. If I Cannot Love was still in the show and I was so privileged to meet the cast afterward. Susan Egan and Nancy Opel were so incredibly sweet and pleased to indulge this gangly 18 year-old student, Roger Bart was very kind as I gushed over him, F. Murray Abraham's response when I told him he was amazing was, "Well, you were all pretty f*ckin' amazing tonight too!" and Betty... I just remember how she said my name and how she hoped they'd get a cast album (which incidently took about a year to produce long after the show closed). Thank you for posting!!

Thanks for posting. Buckley's acting here is so fine. She seems to feel every word and imbue it with meaning.

Betty is not only the most EXQUISITE voice that the Musical theater has ever heard; but she's an AMAZING actress as well. In fact-She long ago, took her rightful place-(Alongside Judy, Barbara, Minnelli)-as one of the greatest vocal/acting greats of all time. I absolutely ADORE other singing actors such as-(Peters, Lupone, Audra, Alice Ripley, Jennifer Holliday, Elaine Page-etc)-but imo, Buckley flies way above her peers/contemporaries. Again-just my opinion😊Thank you so very much for posting this. It's truly beautiful.

I had the great luck of getting a ticket to this show - it is easily one of my favorite Broadway memories (I also got to meet the entire cast at the stage door). Thank you so much for posting this!!!

Damnit. This happens every time you post something from a lesser known show. I wind up getting obsessed with what I heard and then can't get it out of my head. And the soundtrack for this show is woefully incomprehensible.

Oh Aurora where did you get these clips? I can’t find any and I’ve been looking for them for years. Triumph of Love is one of my favourite musicals ever!!!
