Several years ago I flew with a friend of mine on a 2 day 14.5 hour journey to relocate his Piper Arrow from Atlanta Georgia. We flew 10,000 ft VFR the entire trip and landed in Kingman AZ. We left the plan drove to Las Vegas and flew back to Atlanta the next day. Kingman is a tricky place to fly coming over those mountains and the high winds that are typical of the area. Great video and it's awesome to see you learn about all types of aviation.

I really wish there were more ladies that were just interested in aviation. They don’t have to be A&P,s but it would be nice if more ladies were interested. Back in the 40 ,s tons of women were into aviation. I wonder what happened ?

I just loved watching Chelsea's interview, what an incredible feminine and intelligent Yung woman.

This is why I stopped flying after I moved from my home airport. I knew and trusted the aircraft owners of the planes I flew. I was given the opportunity to inspect and help with maintenance of the aircraft I was flying. I knew the mechanics. After moving to South Florida, those rental aircraft are so distant and I have no clue who’s working on them and how well they’re being maintained. Shortly after moving to Florida, a pilot and examiner were killed at Embry Riddle after the wing came off of a Piper Arrow. I’m now looking into two schools for A&P school. That’s the only way I’ll fly again, if I continue to live away from my home airport around aircraft owners (and mechanics) I personally know and trust. I’d rather just become an A&P

Great interview and share. One of my best CFI’s was a Woman and she was always sharp and focused. Chelsea you are so inspirational and dedicated. Your abilities amaze me. Aviation is a fantastic opportunity for young Women to get involved in. Good luck in your pursuit of more ratings.
