In fairness 100 degree ambient isn’t a reasonable expectation to a standard unit. And more so that’s the problem with 290 is you got no head pressure. So it’s dam near as hot as the space no way to reject heat. But also. Yeah that’s a trash unit. But a true 290 unit would be having the same issues
@mathew2214 is the condenser outdoors? Yeah that’s rough but they’re made to fight that fight. These indoor units are made to function on less than 80 ambient. That’s the “garage ready” resi units they’re made to tolerate high ambients.
