The "I'm sure he died of natural causes, like a massive dragon or something" Examine info has been in the game sinnce RS2 came out in like 2004. I used to examine EVERYTHING when I first started because I thought it was neat to read about everything in the game and what Jagex thought to put for each thing... But this one has most definitely absolutely been a dead skeleton examine for over a decade.

How to not get scammed. Don't help anyone with an anti scam/lure. Have a brain. How to lose lose your cash stack. Don't go to the duel arena.

I wanna let people know this too, scammers will talk to you like normal people at first to get you to add them and try and be friends for a few days/longer depending on your wealth. That's probably how they got him. Had a guy try that with me on my zerk just cause i had a tbow on doing zulrah. Stopped by ge and the whole "hey man nice acc, im going for 200m cooking" conversation starts. Add them thinking they're a normal person, few days later they mention some "scammers" are trying to get him, but he knows how to beat their scam, and thats where you come in each time. Don't fall for this shit guys. If its too good to be true, dont fuck with it. All of these scams are made with you thinking you're out smarting them. I like to go along for the first parts for a few 3-10m, but once the items stop dropping and trades start happening it's time to lul and leave.

The way Rakkar speaks is a reference to Patchface from the "Song of Ice and Fire" series, a character that did not appear in the Game of Thrones show. After almost dying at sea where he suffered some amount of brain damage, he rambles on about among other things an undersea kingdom and the creatures he met there. While most of the characters in the books dismiss his ramblings as nonsense, they have been proven to be prophetic at times. Many readers use Patchface's talk of an undersea kingdom as one of several pieces of evidence that an ancient race of fish people exists in the Song of Ice and Fire world. This character believably could only be an easter egg (he also references Rick and Morty as others have pointed out). But considering his lines are not a direct copy of Patchface's and he's seen holding fish food in a fishing village, Maybe he's a clue to some sort of undersea horror we'll encounter in the future. With the ring of wealth scam, you are able to disable the coin pick up if you unequip it, as in you can right click amd toggle the settings. Could you not do this as the duel begins, or after you have got the 1st few kills?

Another scam to look out for is the one where they make you watch some video of the anti-scam tutorial and tell you to look at the comments and see how mad the scammers are, then when you try to follow the steps in the video you will either get door jammed or lured with a stall.

Honestly, people who sit around and think this try hard shit through, then sit around again and try it until someone patient enough with five years to sacrifice in the overly played out attempt at "anti'ing", honesty deserve that few hundred mil. They could have gotten degrees in the time this shit takes.

Please note that you may be attempted to anti scam them. But once they see this video, they will switch up the scam and when you think your anti-scamming them(they let you do it) you will actually falling in the trap. Just don't trade people to avoid being scammed.

I've been scammed a total of 165m over the last year or two, with a current bank of 700m. Not the best, but trust is taxed heavily in this game lmao. Runescape has always been the most scammy community of any game i've ever played

Isn't that stone like the summoning stones from north of falador? The 2007 backup was from shortly before summoning and there's several teasers in game for it, maybe it's just one of those as decoration or could be they've considered adding summoning to osrs

Hey ignus thanks for showing that part about the floating dude, because now i can connect dots for what i think might be an upcoming quest for Al Kharid region possibly that or the region plays a role in the quest because i've been wandering around the old clan wars location and i found that gaint hole that when examined said you can hear voices from there aswell as a cave that might be accessible in the future when examined it says Ominous. A new quest is on the horizon. They made that place look too interesting to leave it like that. I also found an assassin's creed refrence there you'll see it if you visit the place with the haystacks and lookout. Jagex is making a new quest that's master level just like a spider they slowly weave their unreleased content into the game.

Although now knowing about the scam it will be useless on most players. All you have to do is go along with the scam have it turned on for the first part then just turn it off for the second part. Easy way to anti scam them if done right, "anti scammer" gets scammed in this case.
