Lou didn't have to do much acting. he just stood around grunting and pretending to throw people or things.

Lou gave heart and soul to the role with his facial expressions and movements and in the way he believably went from furious aggression against the bad guys to tenderness toward the innocent. Dialogue isn’t the only demanding part about acting. As someone said earlier, Lou IS the Hulk.

Bill was a good actor, and Lou was entertaining...but the show far from accurate! One,...the character name is wrong! All because someone said Bruce sounds gay! Yet, to be fully accurate,...the character name is actually Dr. Robert Bruce Banner! Plus there was never any Supervillains, nor other Marvel characters, (until the late 80's and Thor and Dare Devil were far from accurate)...they could have at least put Rick Jones into the show! Lastly, David was basically homeless, and yet, meet criminals on a regular basis, that would want to kill him every week! This show, was ok for the time, but saying it was the best, ...no it was the only show, you can't say best, when there's nothing to compare it with, unless your comparing it with today's Hulk...if so...no way!

Masterpiece? Really? Give me a break! It's nothing like the character, comics or cartoon! Yeah I watched the show, but your far overating this show! For the time period, it was ok at best! For me the Dare Devil episode was the best one! Thor was far from accurate! He didn't even fly and he and Donald were separate characters! Ect! Far overrated! Don't get me wrong, love Bill and Lou...but to rate this show as The Best...naw!

His facial features were much more scary in the 1st and 2nd season. This is the toned down version of the Hulk!

My point should be clear...but if not, I'll be clear....this show (although entertaining for it's time) isn't accurate to the character! No...the character name wasn't David Banner! And yes...The Hulk talked, even back then...but on this TV show...he didn't talk at all! Inaccurate! That's my point! Has nothing to do with what you said,... it's more about what you aren't saying!

@@mrg466 I've watched the show from time to time, I know how it is. And your clarity wasn't making sense at all because, like I said, I never mentioned anything of speech from the character. He never talked from those times. That was MY point. How did you even get to that conclusion of me talking about something different? 🤨 And as for David Banner, what was the real name if it's not this? I didn't have to do research to know the truth.

@@SiFiGamer2016 I already stated below, but the character name is actually Dr. Robert Bruce Banner. Stan Lee said he got the idea for The Hulk because he got the idea from another character (who people also get wrong, so I 'm going to correct that too here)! The character is (falsely called Frankenstein) however...that is false! Frankenstein is the name of the (doctor who creates The Monster)! Stan said he always thought that the monster in story was actually a good person, but the people were the real villains, because they would attack (the monster). But in Stan's version, he wanted a man to become (The Monster, but still be the good guy deep down inside). So he created The Hulk we know today....Dr. Banner, thin man but smart, and became the monster... powerful, but slow minded. And he did always talk. But in the 70's show, the producers made their own changes to the character,...first no gamma bomb. Second, a name change. Third...no talking! Also no Betty Ross! No General Ross! No Rick Jones! And no Supervillains! The MCU (now) are more close to truth of origin than the 70's Hulk show. I don't hate the 70's show, but it's not accurate. That's all I'm saying.

@@MannyGarcia-pw5ji The 2-for-1s were always my favorites. Hulk had that look on his face like “Yeah, so there’s two of you. So what?” The only more gratifying morph for me was when he grabbed the Kingpin thug who had been about to rape the teacher in the setup to “The Trial of the Incredible Hulk”. The look of fury on Hulk’s face and the way the punk shivered when Hulk pulled him in was classic. Not a 2fer, but still my favorite.
