I just had the best/weirdest campaign idea: Promethean/Traveller. The distance and ability to hop around can feed into the promethean isolation idea, and the time it takes news to travel could help the crew keep going and keep caring about the communities/problems they come across.
I only played Promethean once, that was like 10+ years ago, can't remember much of the one shot but I think I was a cop who died and was brought back like some Frankenstein Robocop. Or maybe I was given the memories of a cop who died and thought it was me. Anyway, if I played it now, I like the idea of being a robot who could alter their body, either like a T-1000 or maybe like an action figure that you could swap out the parts for.
Thanks for these videos! It's very interesting to have an excerpt on all the CoD splats, from a lore perspective and also to feature them as minor NPCs without having to digest a full book.
I would say so. Depending on how you want to interpret it you could say that the Replicants are Unfleshed, as they are not treated as people. Though the rulebook does allow android Prometheans to be other Lineages if it better fits the character concept.
@@AwkwardGMCorbin It's so fun to play it man, if you have the chance, embrace it. I neglected this game for years and it took me just a few sessions for this game to go to my top3 favorite games, it's really awesome
I may in the future. I’m not as familiar with either of those game lines. And as far as I know Kindred of the East is not likely to get an update anytime soon
