The Beginner's Guide to Promethean: The Created 2E Lore and Lineages 

It's nice to see some love for Promethean, it's one of my favorite supernaturals purely for the reasons as you stated. They were never human, didn't ask for this condition, merely created as a byproduct or a stepping stone for another Promethean's Pilgrimage. I'm so excited that I'm finally getting to run a game of this! I sold it just right to a group of players. I kinda used Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood as a way to sell it: The alchemy and transmutation "magic," the Homonculi being basically Pandorans or mad Prometheans themselves, there are some parallels with the body horror aspects of chimeras. Now I'm running my first game! It's a Promethean Road Trip, a journey along the highways and byways, trying to find the path to humanity. Inspired by stuff like "Alice Isn't Dead" and the middle bits of "American Gods" (the book) with strange occurrences and nasty horrors along the road, following the bread crumbs left behind by other Prometheans and the words of a mysterious qashmal

Promethean, my favorite game that I get to play the least. Also, awesome to see a WoD youtuber! Everyone goes on and on for D&D and Pathfinder, it's great to see somebody giving WoD some love.

My two favourite lineages are the Frankensteins because I've watched I Frankenstein quite a lot and it was nice to see Frankensteins monster be the hero for a change and the Galatea's because they're made by and for love and that sounds really nice

I loved Promethean 1st edition, but was kinda wary of 2nd edition. Some of the mechanics changed, and I feel they threw almost too much in, which may be overwhelming for those that never read 1st edition. Still, I loved reading Promethean and coming up with character ideas, from voodoo zombies to Silent Hill creatures. I did - and still occasionally do - see character ideas everywhere. :-)

Not really the point, I know, but I wouldn't say 9/11 brought out the best in humanity when it comes to the treatment of Muslim Americans and immigrants or the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. It certainly shed light on a certain aspect of humanity, but not in the positive sense. A lot of that comradery that was born of it was a shared hostility towards Muslim and brown people out of a misplaced desire for revenge.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! We’re just going to totally gloss over the fact that (A) Your mother can heal injured birds and successfully nurse them back to health, and (B) That HER CAT IS BASICALLY THE EMT OF THIS PARTNERSHIP?? That’s whack!

Hey one question, can you cross antagonist between histories like having an antagonist who comes from promethean in a werewolf/vamp game ?

One of my friends was getting rid of a few of his WoD books and I got Promethean from him. I was considering using more as a supplement book to my vampire or werewolf games I intend to run in the future. Any suggestions? Even if it is “ nooo, don’t!!!” Lol I’m ok with that.
