nah the Thor comics are actually pretty faithful to the Norse myths sure they are "comic bookifyed" and mixed in with the super hero shenanigans of the overall Marvel Universe but as a long time Thor reader there are actually a lot of deep pulls and adaptions of classic Norse mythology stories and lore. i feel like a lot of it just gets lost in the shuffle of all the Marvel universe lore mixed into it

Sadly, he s been steadily declining for the last decade or so but at his peak, the Allfather was beyond insane with the feats he has. He's done things like walk into Mephisto's realm and no-sell a contract Mephisto had over another soul and all the King of Hell could do about it was whine - plus he was the "Lord of Order" (not to be confused with the DC Lords of Order) chosen to compete against Dormammu for the fate of all existence and whether Order or Chaos would rain for the next age. There's a reason Odin's death was notice by even the Living Tribunal. He's also a Nexus being too. I miss the days when the Gods were treated like actual Gods. 🌪🌈🔨⛈

@@Kharis-+ Oh sure, there's plenty. He's still "only" a Skyfather. There's quite a few tiers of above that are occupied by many different beings. The thing is that Odin is at the tippi-top of his tier along with Zeus (although Zeus has barely the feats Odin does) and often punches above his weight class. Still, a lot of the Principalities (extra-dimensional entities like the Vishanti and Cyttorak, ascended beings like Agamotto and the occasional Elder God like Oshtur or Chthon) and some other extra dimensional beings like Dormammu or Shuma-Gorath could feasibly take down Odin - even in his prime. Any of the 4 remaining Elder Gods - who are all mulriversal - could do it (Chthon, Gaea, Set or Oshtur). In his prime, Odin was able to compete with Universal Absracts to a degree but as a general rule, most of them (the multiversal ones esepcially) are usually beyond him outside of his most high-end feats. Moving up from there, Lord Chaos and Master Order (i think that's their names) are above Odin. Galactus has the potential to grow more powerful than Odin though they are usually depicted as roughly equal depending on the different circumstances of their battles/comparisons and who's in a stronger/weaker state at the time. . Then there's the Celestial debate. In their first appearance, the Celestials were seen humbling the Skyfathers terribly. However, this is their best showing by far against any Gods at or near Odin's level and that's arguably because the Gods didn't really know the power they were up against. The Destroyer was actually created to fight the Celestials and Odin did a surprisingly good job of it when he got the chance. It took 7 or more Celestials attacking him simultaneously to defeat him in the Destroyer Armour and they were all named Celesitals at that. Another thing to remember is that Celestials vary wildly in power. Most named ones are worth multitudes of lesser "regular" Celestials for example. Plus, it was discovered that Odin himself created a spell using using ancient Asgardian blood magic that allowed him to enchant weapons to actually kill Celestials. This is the enchantment Thor put on his axe Jarnbjorn in order to defeat Apocalypse when he was still a young God (the magic is so powerful that it only works using royal Asgardian blood such as that of Odin and Thor) and it was this same enchantment that allowed an older Thor to use Jarnbjorn to kill Exitar when he arrived to destroy Earth in the Uncanny Avengers. . So Odin is actually capable of Magic that can kill Celestials and when you compare the feats of the Celestials themselves to those of other Skyfathers or Skyfather level beings like Surtur, Ymir and even Hell Lords like Mephisto and Satanish, the Gods and Demons have, for the most part, better feats - both consistently and at the high end. . But moving on, we still have beings like the Beyonders, Those Who Sit Above In Shadow (who are like Gods to the Gods), people wielding crazy amps like Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet, Heart of the Universe or Cosmic Regulator, amped versions of characters with extra powers like Chaos King Amatsu Mikaboshi or Chaos War Hercules, Primordial entities like Knull or the Black Winter, possibly Gorr the God Butcher, Primordial Deities like Nxy with all of her shards returned, Cosmic Entities like the Living Tribunal and the Phoenix Force and complete freaks of power like peak Molecule Man, possibly Franklin Richards, peak Scarlet Witch and the Marquis of Death. Even a few versions of King Thor could do it. Like Old King Thor at the end of his run when he defeats Gorr the Necroverse, Necro-King Thor, Cosmic King Thor, Phoenix King Thor and definitely Rune King Thor. Oh and apparently Nightmare who, according to a pretty recent story, is capable of feeding off enough Dream Energy to overtake all of the Cosmic and Abstract Entites up to and including the Living Tribunal itself. . So Odin is far from at the top of the totem pole in the grand scheme of things but honestly, while I'm sure I missed a few random outliers - or obvious ones like the the Fulcrum or The One Above All - that's pretty much everyone. Anyone else who was to come up against the All-Father in his prime would be slapped down without too much trouble.

We have kevin feige to blame for that, with his lying, propaganda, advertisement campaign.. all marvel TV series are being cancelled and Feige is going to declare it non cannon.. and coming up are new series like ms. Marvel the most irrelevant and stupid charachter you could make a series about (all because she's muslim, not that i have anything against muslims btw) and LGBTQ characters everywhere just for the sake of it, like how in endgame there was a openly gay guy for a couple of minutes who was basically irrelevant to the story but was just there to boost ratings an expand their target audience. And the characters that are going to return in tv series are possibly being recast and the story completely rebooted. Like Scorsese said about the mcu, it's not cinema or art anymore. It's more about business now....

And why are you bringing up series being cancelled that happened over a year ago and some being two years ago? There's all kind of new series being created. And the big ones still have the original cast from the MCU. Where's all of your proof for your info? And the part about canon and non-canon, Marvel Studios and Marvel Television never really communicated at all about the material crossovers. Jeph Loeb took it upon himself to hint about some of the MCU events in the Netflix Marvel universe and shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and that's very clear because the MCU never referenced the shows. So get your facts straight before you start whining about stuff.
