Marc Alcatraz I don't know about that one. if you're being sarcastic, then you should know it's hard to tell sarcasm over the internet. But other than that, i totally disagree. As a Bethesda fan I look around me always anywhere on any thing that involves bethesda on the internet, and all i see are its "fans" being toxic towards it and each other. other than the PC gaming community and certain competitive games, i think bethesda has one of the most toxic communities on the entire internet.
Elder Maxson some aspects maybe, but Skyrim has one of the best modding communities I have ever seen. Bethesda fans like these are along the best in the world.
Certainly not, however, sense bits and peaces of the mod release periodically upon completion, we're still likely to get quite a bit of content from the mod's devs before TES 6
Judging by how many projects Bethesda is doing - Fallout 4 VR - Starfield - More Mobile Games - and other projects etc. It many not come out until 2020.
03/22/2013 skyblivion 0.1 over 4 years ago maybe you should understand people have been waiting 4 years for it.. and some rumors has it dated over 5 years ago..
I'm glad that Skyrim's still alive after all these years. It's one of my favorite games. I'm not even done with the main quests (I've been playing since 2013, I think)! Thank you Skyrim community.
I consider projects like this to be public works of arts. The time, dedication, and skill for such an undertaking is incredible. The selflessness of releasing such mods for free renews my faith in humanity. Brav-fucken-O!
Balizaharee And now you can live your life as if you were in the game. All the radiation, cancers, and pulling metal fregments from your feet is no only a few feet away
Wow! I had no idea such a project was already in motion, not to mention that a part of it will soon be playable. Keep up the good work man, you got yourself a new sub.
Why don't they just focus on one region at a time? Splitting an entire team over so MANY areas and regions is just beyond overwhelming. One region at a time sounds more realistic, otherwise it seems like this could take up to 30 years to finish.
Jeremy Alexander if that's yhe case, why stop them from working on it? In fact, why would you care? If it doesn't get finished, it doesn't affect you at all, and they'll have still gained valuable experience in the making of assets for games, which they'll be able to potentially use for a career. If it does get finished, it will be a mod on a scale beyond any we've ever seen, and will also showcase areas of Tamriel that have only ever been talked about before. Something tells me you don't know what the words "liar" and "poser" mean. They aren't making anything up about what they're doing, and they're working as hard as they can on this project, not because they feel obligated to or because they want to show off, but because they think it's cool and they genuinely want to do it. Heck, I bet most of them enjoy doing it. And they're doing it completely free. In other words, you don't have to pay for it, and if it fails then nothing of value is lost. Meanwhile, if it succeeds, something of great value is gained. So why hate on it? Why belittle the people pouring their heart and soul into this passion project that's being done for free? Especially when their success actually benefits you, and you get nothing from their failure? Why?
The classic fanboy ahahaha. I am going to use your main point against you, "Why do you care?", why do you care about some random comment? Go fuck yourself, it looks like these guys don't know shit about the Internet.
547265626f72 so basically you either didn't read my comment, or you did but can't come up with any valid counterpoints, so have resorted to trying to discredit me by calling me a "classic fanboy". You also insulted my knowledge and verbally lashed out at me, showing me that you either think I've somehow personally attacked you or that you just hate people who you can't argue with.
waw this looks awesome, when i was around 12 i was planning on sending a letter to bethesda about the next elder scrolls game being skyrim just with all of cyrodiil and continue the story of the dragonborn but then realized they wouldn't do that when i found out more about the elder scrolls series as a whole, and i did have alot of ideas for quests and stuff for the provinces so id love to tell people working on this mod about some of the ideas i came up with for quest lines and monsters and that sort of thing
Not really, they add the maps in their own cells(makes it very easy for NetImmerse to load the data), and assuming this will be out for SE(ofc, scince they plan to release it for xbox); It would theoretically make it quite stable.
Holy sh... the sceneries look totally amazing! As much as I didn't really want to put much hope in this project, I am taken aback. Even if it was just an exploration mod, it would be unbelievable. Now if there's good voice acting AND some quests on top of that... wow. Just wow. Think I'm gonna search for a way to donate and contribute now. :D Also, thanks for the great video. That really motivated me. :3
We would love to have you if you are interested. Our sign up thread is here www.darkcreations.org/forums/forum/141-recruitment/ All provinces will be fully fleshed out mods with quests and VA...
Thank you! And amazing, you got a lot of writer threads there! I might wanna take a look at them as writng is my passion. I'm not a native English speaker but I could get a beta or something if that's an issue.
Well, we're planning a beta release for our individual region in around 2 years. It's a big project! And we only have a little over 30 people working on it, including writers and musicians and non-programmers. So if anyone out there knows any good coders, and/or creation kit users, reply to this comment and I'll decide if you should see the boss.
Knowing Bethesda every area will be like 5x5 kilometers big, feature 4 houses big capitol cities with maybe 5 people on the streets of those xboxhueg metropoles and have hade loads of cut content like always.
I've always wanted to see Black Marsh and Elsweyr ^^ It is amazing what the Skyrim community can do, I would have thought this is something Bethesda was working on if I didn't know better!
So way back around Skyrim's launch I offered to help with this mod when they were recruiting on the Nexus Forums. I wrote about a page long summary on what I thought Cyrodiil would be like during this point in time. But I never actually ended up working on the project due to life getting in the way by the time the Creation Kit had released, and by the time I did have time to work on it i wasn't able to get back into contact with the team. Though i did find an old website they had been using that had all of my thought on Cyrodiil on it. Anyways, it is just super strange to me to think that at least some of my ideas might be in a mod that is going into a public testing phase over 5 years after I had been involved in it. Especially considering I had pretty much completely forgotten about it till seeing this video.
This is beautiful, I saw the trailer and actually thought that it was made by Bethesda. The more mods like this come out, the more I wonder why modders aren't just being hired up asap to make these games full time.
I expect this to be done at around the turn of the century. I'll be playing this on my way to Mars in my space car to pick up some replacement robotic limbs.
Though i dont think this will ever be completed, but people were complaining that 5 years on and they only produced Bruma, though there is more than just the city itself, but the entire region surrounding especially far off to the west, which while empty for the most part, is still pretty awesome
you know if Bethesda was smart they would drop in on these guys and help them. honestly if they were smart they would take the projects offering these guys unchap while they're at it and make it an official Elder Scrolls game. I mean they've already got most of the groundwork completed from the sounds of it. if they're capable of doing this than they're worth keeping around for Bethesda Bethesda should just hire them and help pick up right where they left off and this Beyond Skyrim could be the next Elder Scrolls. could you think of something more awesome because I can't
This mod is never going to be finished. Tamriel Rebuilt has been worked on since the release of Morrowind, and mainland Morrowind is not even close to being finished.
well lets see here 1. they are working with outdated tech 2. most of their team left and some even left to work on this mod. 3, there just isnt that much interest in morrowind so they dont feel encouraged to continue working on it as frequently
Rob Wilson Will each province be about the same size as they were in the previous games? Also will the Morrowind Mainland be included? This seems hard to believe.
Each province will be on the same scale as skyrim (1:1 scale), not as in previous games, that would be too hard to achieve. Therefor mainland morrowind can and will appear
actually, the first region of the first province is being released this year, *all* other regions haven't been given an official (public) release date yet. I highly doubt that the entire "mod" being called Beyond Skyrim will ever be released; but I honestly don't care; I want them to release all of Hammerfell, High Rock, Cyrodiil, and Morrowind, and I'll be happy. If they also got to Valenwood and the Summerset Isles, that would just be the icing on the cake; but it's nowhere near as important to me. Of course, I'm far more likely to get some (most, even?) of each region, and never quite get all of any of them.
I really can't wait for this....bring back Ayleid ruins, and if the whole project is bug free and compatible with major Skyrim mods I'll be more than happy to donate.Pls consider including unique Oblivion/Morrowind mobs
This could also help for job applications in the future. As a new game developer you may not find a job that fast, but if you have experience in something like this, i believe it could help you a lot in the future.
This is me personally, but I want to see High Rock ASAP, because that is my favorite province followed by the Summerset Isles. They need to expand their team and bring on the most talented modders in the entire Nexus if they haven't already.
There's a lot of doubt in the comments, but I'm hopeful. Them releasing large regions at a time is an amazing idea, I think. It'll keep us busy for so long that by the time we want more, another region could be released. And I'm saying that for people who play for 100+ hours with these games, of course. I'm looking forward to this first region for sure.
they can use the mod teams that created the summer set isles and else where expansion mod to help them cause they are quite talented and have a good understanding of the lore
Skywind: Morrowind done with Skyrim engi. Roughly 6 years of developement. Beyont Skyrim: An announced flop. I mean, come on. Make the quests for 1200 towns.
Doran Martell These people are mad... a large team of amateur modders will result in some horrible quality control when it comes to quests and content, if they even finish it that is....
I remember hearing about his mod years ago and they were gong to release Beyond Skyrim: Burma like 3 years ago and they never did and they stopped updating the information on it and it got abandoned. If they couldn't finish one town 3 years after they said they would i doubt they'll finish anything.
I just like how in this they are adding the seamless integration so there isn't some massive loading screen / travel sequence. EDIT: That is, if they get it done within the next 30 years
