Nobody : Literally only me: Saving the video even before watching it, knowing that the video would be helpful. Thank you @Pratibha Kini for this helpful video. Would really be useful to me. Thanks :)
This is Wonderful not only for Dancers, but full body exercise for everybody. Looks simple when you do it, but it's real workout to strengthen the muscles as well as flexibility. This will be very helpful for me. Miss you Ammunu.
As usual, very useful exercises indeed !! Your thighs, elbows, neck and shoulders are so stiff and straight. Amazing strength and determination. Keep it up !! 👌👌👍👍
Pratibha Kini Im so inspired by you. I'm 26 and because of the live for bharatanatyam I started my online classes 4 months back. However Im unable to stay in aramandi position for a long time. Also Im able to perform steps in 1st and 2nd Talaa but not 3rd Talaa. Can you provide some insights on how to improve this. Sincerely hoping you will reply to this :)
Thanks! Glad to know.. For aramandi, check the tips in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eYeHGpPz1r4.html and below videos : for Turnout : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DBSpMwy45oc.html for Leg strengthening : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SerNBEMvh4M.html I don't know why exactly you are unable to perform adavus in 3rd speed. So can't suggest something randomly. Talk to your teacher, maybe?
When I learned Bharatha nAtyam in the 1950s, we the students were taught the adavus and the dance items with a lot of attention given to the bhAvam and thALam. I learned yoga on my own from my paternal grandfather. We used to have class everyday for about 90 minutes ( 6 A.m to 7 - 30 A.M). All the Fridays were devoted to practicing the all the adavus. These days much more is expected from the classical dancers - including the incredible perfect split! Is today's dancing moving closer and closer to gymnastics???
I do not expect my students to do the split. If getting fit is helping one dance better, I don't see downside of exercising. I can't compare then to now, but I can say bhava and taala aren't given any less importance than fitness. Just that the former are taught in a dance class and latter isn't.. Hence an attempt to share the benefits I have reaped by exercising with others.
It would be very useful mam...I know it will reduce your retention rate but ya.Your previous tips were very useful, witty, creative and intelligent 😀 Just my opinion
Ma'am I have one quere to ask when ever I do Kudditumettu adavu I feel the sensation of pulling down from my private part is it something I'm doing wrong while dancing or is it common please do reply 🙏
Thanks for subscribing! This is not a warm up video. I have made warm up videos already. It is suitable for all fitness levels. You could rest longer if it's too tiring in between and increase number of sets/rounds. Read the description of the playlist "video sequence guide" to plan your workout. On the days you are too bored to plan, or on the days you want to do full body workout, do this 😊
How do i prevent arching and flaring when i lie down? My ribs are quite big, so its difficult to maintain the right posture. How should it be done in that case??
Weight loss is not common for all, isn't it... It is to be custom made.. so can't make a generic video. The only secret is to workout consistently and eat healthy food!
Didi, I like to dance a lot. I try to follow your videos. However, one of my problems is that my aramundi is not beautiful, even if I step on the foot does not make much noise. My height is comparatively low, 4 feet 6 inches and I am 25 years old. What can I do now, how can I solve this problem. Love from Bangladesh.
