@nickgoodwin8332 along as it's a sebring coupe it's not a bad swap. You need the water neck from a 6g74. You can reuse the intake manifold from a 6g75 and I'm sure there's more details I'm just sadly waking up lol
So......is it simply not possible somehow to put the 6g75 in a 2.4l 4g setup? Everyone seems to think its impossible even tho they are the exact same body. Maybe just different motor mounts and obviously ecu and harness
if i make a swap to the 3g eclipse is not going to be the 6g75 i will go 1g 4g63t 6 bolt for 500whp with a 50 trim turbo and 28 psi with eprom 95 ecu dsmlink no joke.
why would you use eprom dsmlink when the block box ecu in the 3g is the same as the one in the EVOs.... maybe do some more reading if that is what you want.
I have a 2003 eclipse gs 2.4L i4 4g64 can I swap that with the 6g75 mivec also do I need to get a specific year of the 6g75 mivec engine I heard that only 2006-2007 engines will swap correctly
I have a 3g Gts. But honestly I'd rather buy a 4g gt with the motor already in it. Guess it all in what you want.to do. It's alot.of work an most people don't have the skill , tool or know how to do the swap. Which is about 99% of the people who ask about it..
Can this motor or any other v6 mivec fit in the 08-17 lancer? I'm assuming some mods my be needed but does it fit? Looking to gut my lancer and swap to a 6cyl
I recently turned 16 and im kinda getting into cars i have a 01 eclipse gt manual and i don’t really know what mivec is, is it a awd swap for the 3g eclipse or is it just a motor swap
6g75 3g okay ive done some research but im still wondering why would you want to do this swap I don’t see that much improvement as in horsepower there maybe huge improvement but Ive only seen a 75 horsepower improvement on the pages I’ve seen that may be wrong
Yes you can. People have done it before. It just won't be a GS-X or GS-T unless you have a 1G DSM and want the DOHC 24V over the 3rd Gens SOHC 24V that faces opposite direction. Only thing is, you'd have to get the 420A version as the mounts are 99% the same compared to the 2G 420A model. Since it was based off the Avenger coupe (2.5L) then you can definitely swap over with the FWD manual transmission and it should fit just fine but a lil bit more tight. Not sure on the full list of parts but I've seen it done before.
Hey man I see your one of the only people still active. I’m a few weeks from finishing my 3.8 non mivec swap and have been looking into boosting it but I cant find anything on boosting the 6g75, u think u can point me in the right direction?
6g75 3g yeah thats what I was thinking cause I couldnt find anything on club3g or anywhere referencing a turbo build, thanks though man appreciate the response
