BIFANAS | Famous Portuguese Marinated Pork Sandwich 

Today, I am making Portugal’s famous pork marinated sandwich-the Bifanas. But instead of Portuguese beer or white white wine, I am using a good half cup of apple juice to marinate the pork. You can use apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar.

Ingredients:
250 grams Pork (thin cutlets)
5 grated garlic
2 bay leaves
1/2 cup apple juice (or red wine vinegar)
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cumin
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup olive oil (for frying)
Caramelized Onions:
1 white onion in
1 Tbsp tomato paste
salt to taste
