That is a very beautiful animal. Also, that was a lot of fluid and a large opening he found for a hoof that size. It must have been incredibly painful. Donkeys experience pain the same way as horses, but due to being more prey like animals they don't show they are in pain so a horse is faster to start limping. This donkey must have been really hurting.
