Big and dangerous waves in Cabo San Lucas

Hi Debashree. Chris is right. The person recording was a friend of ours, and she was not aware of the danger we were exposed to. I got a big cut near my eyebrow because I hit my friend's knee. By the time we reached out to her side, I had blood all over my face so she was not laughing anymore! 🥲

@@manuto9518 You don't have to stay completely out of the ocean. There are lots of small waves that are fun and not dangerous

I was a lifeguard many years ago in San Diego and the guys at the Naval Training Center on Rosecrans would graduate from their schools, go to the beach, rent a surfboard even though they had never been in the ocean and proceed to need to be rescued.

Sorry to hear you're almost drowned glad you were safe yeah the ocean is no joke and just for added information, the word undertow and Riptide are wrong words and don't exist it's called rip current. In this case with short break as a sediment and water recedes back out another wave breaks on the shore which covers you up and you're already underneath it and pulls you out and you get tossed around.......... the word undertows incorrect because you don't get pulled under the water you just get pulled out and the word Riptide is incorrect because it's has nothing to do with the title effect so whether it's high tide or low tide the occurrence still happens so it's rip current like ripping a section of the open ocean water receding back out finding the spot and flowing back out so it's ripping out I've done water rescue before and I remember doing rescues on people and they would say Hello thank you I was getting pulled under and you save me and then back on shore doing reports I would explain that you weren't getting pulled under just out
