@@danniemikeey579 he’s right though, many people stop doing what they’re doing because they’re afraid of confrontation, you got criticisms? Come tell me them to my face, I don’t bite.
Don't even have to follow him this has to be illegal somehow get the cops to do it less trouble for you and another Chevy driver is off the road haha 😂
All depends on what they mean by “power”, my tandem axle Cummins powered L9000 dirt truck has a 290hp NTC series Cummins in it, so I guess technically a 5.3 has me on horsepower but 855 cubic inches of engine mean I can yank any dodge diesel pickup around like a play toy with that 290 hp. I had a kid with a diesel Ram 3500 argue with me for 15 minutes at a truck show that my truck was a “swap” because Cummins only comes stock in dodge/ram trucks.
@@VanquishedAgain My family do. 30ft isnt that big to haul. Cigarettes and Outerlimits are 38-52Ft and up to 18,000lbs and people haul them every weekend. My friend hauls his 43 Ft cruiser with a chevy diesel
Except the tongue is way too low, the tires are bulging and the bow isn’t even making contact with that roller. Just because it’s moving doesn’t make it fine.
And slight dips in the road is what usually throws the tongue weight to the rear end out of whack it can get real squirrely real quick if going to fast
I pulled a 38 foot camper trailer 60 miles with a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was free and put $7k in my pocket two days later after cleaning it and fixing the slide out switch. I also had someone in front to give me a safe braking distance and did it at night.
@@danniemikeey579 Sorry about that. I changed house to camper as it did the auto text thing. My bad. My transmission light did come on so I sat and let it cool down by idling.
Three axles, all tires bulging. At least he has surge brakes on the trailer. I would have followed that to its destination. If it was a ramp, it would be one to record.
He might be able to launch it but theres no way in hell hes pulling it back outta the water with that avalanche, idc if its the 2500 hd version of the avalanche which i barely see on the road..the 8.1 in the 2500 coud oull it but idk about getting up the ramp...i hope this avalanche at least has the 6.0 motor not the 5.3..
@@VanquishedAgain florida man here but no way I would drag that boat with an avalanche. But he couldn't stop that quickly. It would push that little truckish thing sideways.
Lol my dad hauled his boat just like this one with his old Tahoe (not just because he felt like it, he had his reasons for this particular haul) and he was telling me how the SUV sounded like it was gonna blow up the entire time
TBH that trailers kind of small for that boat too, that’s a HUGE cabin cruiser, even a ton truck would be a little small for that thing….I’d be wanting something with air brakes to slow that down.
My dumb ass father in law once pulled a big ass pontoon (23') I believe to ikafenee from tifton ga with a plum purple dodge caravan. We literally looked like a bunch of idiots. We went flats fishing and scalloping tho. There was a shit ton of reefer and Budweiser involved in damn near every woke hour of that trip. Lmao. The good old days!
They are taxed and insured as a truck even though it’s on a Tahoe chassis. They aren’t supposed to tow over 5000 lbs . There’s to much weight on the tongue.
Lmfao are there no police in your state ? Illinois state police would be all over ya for trying that here. where is this acceptable cuz I want to move there
@@carpe_poon5761 kinda.. but not really. I build yachts and captain them. And from Pensacola to Jacksonville it has a lot of boats. More then anyother state in the U.S. but it is not our yachting state. That would be Rohde Island. I have stayed at the Miami yacht club. And I have tied off many nights in Newport RI. You do not know what a yacht is till you go to Newport. It isn't even close. Miami is for rappers and ball players. Newport is where the multi billionaires go. So boating capital of the US? Absolutely. Yachting capital of the world? Not a chance. Maybe 4th or 6th place.
@@FelixDKatz-tb7or You know what I meant. People just hate on Florida bc its in the south. But I doubt its just rappers and ball players. Billionaires have yachts in Florida too. The weather, the keys. Its definitely the go fast boat capitol of the world. Im pretty sure Monaco is the yacht capitol
@@FelixDKatz-tb7or Ceo of Silverstein in NY takes his yacht to Florida and loves it there. The owner of Stolichnya as well. A real estate billionaire in miami just bought a 312ft yacht. Sounds like people like yachting and boating in Florida. NY doesn't have the weather, the beaches
@@carpe_poon5761 I would agree with you. I would rather be in Florida too. But the money and the boats historically and currently is still Newport. Not NYC or FL. It is much nicer in the Keys. And I have worked there more the any other state on yachts. But Newport RI is the US yacht capital. Monaco is the global capital. Miami #1 destination.
Must be Florida. I’ve seen several people over the years try and pull boats far oversized for the truck pulling it. I’ve seen people with a MINIVAN pull boats comparable to that and try to back down a boat ramp and fail miserably.
@@kamilkarwat2706 heh love when people attempt to be sarcastic and clever. I’m watching on cel through the app so i can’t always make out plates and such.
20 year RV dealer here. All he needs is a weight distribution hitch and some air bags and he will be right as rain! I cant begin to tell you how many 5th wheel i have sold to people driving a Tacoma or an El Camino and they drove off the lot just fine. Sometimes they even sell me back the trailer at a huge profit to me!
