Big CHANGES on DEADEYE | Activation test 

I would've thought guard up would be for the AI since they never put their hands up when you catch and shoot over them.

Damn, I messed up on my badges and cored silver Agent 3s so, I can't even get deadeye even if I wanted

Dead eye activates also on slightly to the side too

No because I have both deadeye and blinders and if they are slightly to the side it still pops up and blinders does too

Guard up activates when they don’t have a hand up, blinders, dead eye activate regardless if their hand is up. This game ain’t really meant to be stacking badges, and he found the way😂😂. The real question is, do you see him balling out like that on the court? If so, then just try it on a different badge loadout.

Yeah the pull-up precision and spot up have similar descriptions. Is standing still just when the ball is held and is off the dribble just when fading? Or do they overlap? It would be tough to test though since they both give you +7 or 8 on three point shots

@@dan27g No I think pull up gives only 5 to 3pt attribute. And from what I have heard the boost of spot up is also to open dribble shot as long as you are not fading

My career game. Press options, go to Box Stats, Highlight your Player and watch your Player card and its ratings. But avoid to activate the Leadership skills. Shooting take : plus 8 on shooting stats plus the takeover effect.

Blinders isn't great this year unless you're in rec in my opinion

Blinders if you're a Shot Creator. It's always activating when I do a stepback or fade because those are typically desperation shots

If you use it even on bronze it activates pretty often you aren’t using it right if you can’t tell if it’s activating use a combination of the stick and L2 button to bump and grab the opposing player off the ball

I agree with silver clutch shooter. It gives me more confidence to take jumpshots especially to end the game. And i prefer gold green machine than blinders or dead eye but that's just me and my playstyle

@@KaliweteKid I DONT EV60EN RUN DEADEYE OR GREEN MACHINE AND I WAS SHOOTING 65 PERCENT N THE REC OVEER 100 Games played running pg before i started running with randoms here n there recently but im still shooting 59 or 60 percent taking at least 15 or more shots a game n from deep too.

If your not on pg or sitting on hash no point using it I play pg and when it didn’t have it on I was getting 30 plus contest now with gold I’m getting like open to 20 percent contest depending on how close the defender is

Blinders pops up every time for me when I take jumpshot fades. Not a whole lot, of at all, on regular standing jumpshots, cause i don't usually take contested jumpshots to see if it'll activate.

@@BlaqKobra13 yea thats fair I try not to take much contested either but even when there's situations for blinders that wouldve popped like last year I feel like it doesn't

@@ndehm10 It usually pops up on ghost contests for me. Like when there's someone on the weak side of my fade who doesn't actually get a hand up, but just there. Maybe 2 or 3 feet away. I almost have it cored on gold.

I don't see how you don't have enough badge points. The only way you don't have enough is if you only upgraded your 3pt and not your midrange at all. If you really want to be a nockdown shooter you have to sacrifice on other areas. So if you want to get 25+ badges be prepared to only have a close shot for finishing or have no playmaking or have subpar defense. My point is, you can't and shouldn't get all those badges unless you sacrifice other parts of your game. Unless you are making a KD build to dribble and shoot (and only be able to dribble and shoot) at 7ft tall you don't need blinders and deadeye.

@@matthewthomas7339 ive sacrificed enogh. You dont Need to Tell me this. Last year you had way more options to make the Build like you wanted him. The Tiers making It impossible if yo are Not 6.9. Everthing you Need outside the meta is in Tier 3. And you Need the badge points otherwise then shooting. 2k23 is a Step back into last Gens Center builds. The game should be called 2k6.9

@@Riese79 just made a 7ft Center with 7'5 winspan you can get an 86 3pt and still get silver blinders and deadeye. Plus gold catch and shoot once you get it cored. This leaves you eith 2 badges left for whatever else you want. If you want more shooting badges upgrade your middy and you can get up to 25. This leaves you with deadeye on silver blinders on gold green machine on gold catch and shoot gold and limitless on silver once you get something cored. Then you still get 2 extra badges. My point is the first build can be made and you will still have decent finishing with great playmaking and defense. Or you can make the second build and have great shooting with great defense but subpar finishing.
