I love these so much!! I remember staying up late (as a little boy) and watching these along with the horror movies that they would show on WJW Channel 8 !! I now live in the Washington, DC area, and I think of this and the laugh track often :)
Betcha Stosh got that carpet from the berm of 71 over there by Ford Motor. Or maybe it was laying in the slow lane in some slush on Brookpark over by Ambassador Lanes across from the Big Boy.
"Certain Ethnic" only came about because Big Chuck's didn't want another "Parma Place" fiasco (the city of Parma objected to Ghoulardi's pointed Polish jokes and forced channel 8 to discontinue that skit series). We all know it's Polish, but it's self-depricating humor and never was intended for malicious means.
Actually as I recall it was charged to "Certain Ethnic" because calling them Polish was deemed offensive. I remember them telling use that. But they also said "You'll know what we mean".
