In this video ninja uses the little stick Trowel machine on a big driveway check out and see how she goes . If you are interested in getting one of these stick trowel machines go to www.MasterFinish.com.au
We put heaters underneath the pours you should see the amount of heat propane and just energy in general extra is used when we pour we also add 2% accelerator you walk to the job site bundled up go inside and strip down and that is if you’re lucky to be inside-Detroit finishers union
I love these things, can throw the slippers on them to really bring up slurry to close up a slab and bring up slurry. Using a stick trowel afyer breaking in with a mosquito u get a great finish makes things so much easier especially when trying to bring up slurry before coving/ finishing driveways. Great on houseslabs in sections that are being covered by tile/ floorboard. Awesome the weight of these is less than 20kg so 1 man lift. I highly recommend having these, they don't replace your normal size power trowel but defiantly have their uses where the heavy trowel machine can't do. Problems I've found with mosquito choppers over years is the throttle cable that runs to pole seems to always have problems, I also wish you could adjust blades while using them but apart from that they are great
Being a driveway I am surprised you did not do a much heavy broom. Such as brooming it instead of using the Funny Trowel/Stick trowel. The texture wears off in time and becomes slick in the rain. We have a metal paving broom that leaves the finish looking very rough UNTIL it is driven on for a few weeks....left with sweet little traction lines. With all the walking tools I did not see a walking edger or walking jointer.
They could have left a swirl finish with those machines ,just like the ones done with mag floats . we used to do it all the time when doing parking garages. Then you would`nt need a broom crew.
That's the first time I always said can we do that trial machine a driveway no one in New York has ever done it and I've just seen it so it can be done if it's completely flat
I would have had that hand wiped out before the chopper even got on that slab. Second wipe and broom before the second pass of floats blades . Time is money 💰
All Access Construction people don’t like joints cut into the slab much in Queensland Australia they like just a little cutline 👌 which is good for us less work and easier to do the job
Wow all that time floating it off and stick floating it than you go give it a rough broom finish? Using a stick float leaves trowel marks when you broom it you can see them I would of just bull floated till concrete firmed up then uses a light broom ? My opinion tho. great video and nice site's ... Kiwi.concrete.pig
