Holy Shit! Dude Hill you’re Flying out there! ✊ it looks like so much fun especially watching you going HAM! The electric bike is perfect for that track, I dig it! PROUD! 👊✊
This is amazing. You can tell they got the turf from a used field it still has the number and hash marks on it! Seems like it would keep from having to do maintenance on the jumps all the time.
John’s a good dude, glad to see the playground growing🔥 My buddy introduced us to him and his Astro track when he lived in Washington. Some fun big jumps.
I love that place, I missed you by 1 weekend, or you could have ridden my upgraded Kuberg Ranger, built out of a CR80R. Figured you could appreciate it 😂
Love your take on weekly sx training! Don’t gotta worry about the hill bros burning out with how much fun they have! Love it brother! Those stark bikes seem ideal for fmx and free riding. I’m looking forward to seeing how triumph does this weekend. I think they did good in the mxgp pre race last weekend.
Looks like a great time! Gnarly crashes I'm sure. How often are ya gonna have to redo the corners, from getting constantly railed on the main line? Great for a peewee track 🤘
That was so cool man, thanks for sharing! Aside from my comments below, that looked epically fun. Ooof, thinking about football players and astroturf, one thought I had was road rash. I used to race both superbikes and motocross bikes. One thing with superbikes is you needed to wear leathers. Has anyone crashed at high speed on that turf yet? How was their skin?
That looks like a lot of fun, but I don’t think that turf will last very long with full size dirt bikes on it. I feel like it wouldn’t hold up to landing on the gas. Great idea for a pit bike track though
Surprisingly it does hold up. John had full size normal bikes on his track up in Washington. Pretty wild cause we all thought the same thing and oddly enough it worked great. It’s what inspired him opening this one on more land 🤙🏻
Is it like some kind of flex to ride surons in sneakers? I don’t understand this especially considering dude is pro? Legit question I’m genuinely curious. The old motocrosser in me would 1000% have boots on.
People ride surons in bicycle gear because they’re closer to a mountain bike than they are to a motocross bike. Full MX boots are always safer, even on an unpowered mountain bike but people rarely equip themselves with that level of protection for a bicycle
No shifting no sound no smell no ruts. My personal opinion is that youre just shaving off all the challenges and extra things that make riding fun. Might as well just go ride a roller coaster that simulates riding a dirt bike
