Hey guys no joke, it makes me so happy that there are still so many people out there that care about Hip-Hop, this video got like 40k in a week and a half, and i've been reading through these comments and you guys all sound just like me, thats why I started this channel to bring real Hip-Hop back, because now a days I feel like everybody in the mainstream is just so bad and- idk who is in charge of double XLL and all of these magazines but they've been promoting the wrong people and the wrong things, when they should be putting the lime light on rappers with real talent, who give there heart and souls to the craft, so if you are seeing this- or you are just scrolling by watching this video, I just wanted to say thank you, and god bless. Your friend, Actual Hip-Hop.
and no joke before you guys and all of these comments I thought that I was the only kid out here still listening to Big-L, but it makes me so happy that there are still so many people out there that care about hip-hop and still bump his music today

God he's so cold . This is hands down top 5 freestyles of all time period. It's crazy how much Eminem used big Ls style and flow. People think he's the rap God if big l was still here I'm sure he'd hold the throne.
nah facts man, Big L is ridiculous bro, thats why I made him the banner of my channel, we only respect real emcees here man, just like bars on i95 bring ya pen game not ya name
*To this day, I really don't think I've ever heard a better delivery than Big L.* Maybe Biggie, maybe Nas, maybe Raekwon feel close in certain songs. Some Mos Def, Black Thought, some Binary Star, most Griselda comes close too. Very few other artists feel close. Every line is so crisp, and so different from anything you hear. He's got the flow, the rhythm, the creativity, the depth, even when he freestyles or spits writtens on random beats he never misses a single drop, he's never out of flow or out of rhyme. But it's never corny or over polished, it's still raw. It's like looking at a perfect piece of graffiti on the wall. It's not fine art, but man, you gotta stop and appreciate it.
Witty wordplay, convincingly delivery, but the thing that makes him one of the best rappers of all time is his flow. Insane skills. This guy still is on another level.
dude of course man I got you, I want to make this channel like a archive of hip hop man, underground and legends alike, if you get a chance help support by tossing me a sub man next year i'm hoping we can break 1000 :D and maybe get big enough someday to help artists get famous and bring real hip hop back into the main stream
Good bro I'm glad!! I'm just a small channel right now but maybe someday we can get big enough to shift the genre back to this kind of music @@tyduncan2053
Sometimes I feel like when you are elite and can't no one come close to your skills, they knock you off just to get you out the way. I always hear other names mentioned when they talk about raps Mt. Rushmore. Go back and listen to every thing this guy did. He never dropped an "ok" verse. Everything that he dropped was way better than anyone that has been classified as the greatest. His death started alot of these other rappers careers because alot of rappers wouldn't of made it if Big L was alive.
Did you hear the song with Big L and Jay-Z together? Jay-Z was fighting for his life trying to keep up with Big L. Nas admitted that when he 1st heard Big L rap that it scared him to death.
@@williamthompson7468 I did caught that “freestyle “ on pandora…that’s were I first got the idea…. Jay’s first stuff wasn’t like that speed up slow down style…but afterwards it was a lot….I always look for the pattern of who blows up after someone dies…..
One of the best master of lyrics ever to pick up the microphone got taken from this planet from us all too soon his memory and his music lives on with things he did like this.Bless Brother G Beats England's Bristols very finest and own.
facts man, and oh yeah man it will never die dude, he's immortalized through his music man, and through all of the young kids and adults that he inspired
facts bro, I know they will too man, in the mean time check out Marlon Craft, and Robert Martino man, there both super dope (and not a lot of people know who they are) Marlon Craft - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EGH_RC0JkA8.html&ab_channel=MarlonCraft Robert Martino - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CudNBmnpZ6c.html&ab_channel=RobertMartino and then for more mainstream underground artists theres ANoyd from CT, Kota the Friend, Travis Thompson, Obviously go listen to Capital Steeze and Joey and all of there friends on pro era
The hip hop industry was forever changed when L was taken from this earth....one can only imagine how far he would have gone. Dare I say L and Nas would still be jockeying for that top spot in NYC to this day?
also dude some cool new rappers if you want somebody lyrical to listen too is this kid named Robert Martino, Marlon Craft, oswin benjamin, benny the butcher, action bronson, and to be honest I think that's it haha, I can't really think of a lot of new guys that are really lyrical anymore
Fun fact. The second verse was about 2Pac, Suge Knight, and Deathrow. Im just the messenger..🤷🏿♂️ first verse was said to be about Pac. L. Is the only rapper to make America's Most Wanted. 💯 RIP
Such an elite flow and lyricism. First song I'mma make my kids listen( I'm teenager rn) so that this music never dies. "You running with boys I'm running with men ............damn that nigga had done done it again" What a smooth flow
Definitely 1of Raps Elete....one of the dopest and possibly most underrated talents that ever existed! His wordplay was light-years ahead of majority. Ask beavis I get nothing butthead. That's like ruck n rocs fuck batman and Robin I'm Robin with a batman 🦇 line..in the 90s one had to possess a certain lyrical standard. I fucking chicks in the ass when I was 6 n half genius..he's top 5 dead or alive
