Great vid mate, some wicked fishing there. When you were making those sandwiches at first I thought the pulled beef was a bag of weed lmao, you are on Great Barrier after all
Great video guys really enjoyed it.The Great Barrier havnt been back there for ova 15 years ...maybe time to wipe the cobwebs of the fishing gear and head out there.I Wonder if the great landbased fishing guru John lennon is still living on the barrier, great man.miss that place. One of if not thee best unspoiled land base fishing spots on the planet.
ha epicnes! 1 sub here, love the rock fishing, cant believe your eating beef n bangers tho?wot, dont go all matt watson on the fish after its out of the water, get them back in the water quick smart, make yourselfs a 2pce long handle net, was feeling for the big fella when you had him by the tail upside down in the wash. keep em coming
I am trying to learn use of soft bait off the rock but wasn't successful. I took both philli and zman 5inch And 7inch but fish didn't even nibble on zman and also daiwa bait junky. fish were only biting philli. To be successful do we have to pump the buerly for hour to bring in the fish and those use to secret sauce make things any better? Will you please give me some advice.
The last few weeks have been a tricky time of the year with fish less keen to hit lures. You can drop lure size, go to 4inch grubs instead with lighter jig weights. Don't always have to pump a berley but it definitely helps on slower days
