I think those 2 had a history outside the Pawn shop IMO. Those interactions were not customer/employee style interactions. More personal. Wouldn't be surprised they were once friends now bitter enemies or something along those lines.

More than half of the people bringing things in to sell or Pawn were given those items out of the back of the store before filming their spots. People started getting indignant that they were being filmed and contributing to a television show but not getting compensated so the production team bought $500.00 per week of $25 gift cards to the pawn shop and started handing them to the people that would film spots so they didn't cause trouble.

More than half of the individuals that were filmed for television received the items from the back of the pawn shop merely a film a spot for TV. The people pawning the items started to kind of protest and demand that they get paid or compensated somehow for being involved in a TV show so the idea of the $25 gift cards was brought about and instituted.

Considering what people will do for a Klondike bar you'd be surprised.

Absolutely all of it is. The only almost genuine spot is when Lex Luger came in and even that was worked out with Luger's team and the store prior to any filming. I worked for RDF USA which later became the Zodiak Media during the last filming season and all of it is a work.. the people that were filmed were given $25 gift cards to the shop bought by the production team and the majority of the people filmed were given the items out of the back of the store prior to their spots being filmed. The only reason the $25.00 gift cards started getting handed out was because the individuals getting filmed started getting irritated that they were contributing to a semi popular show and not getting compensated in any way so to ease the frustrations the production team would buy $100 worth of $25 gift cards per week so we could film..
