Hey sorry, I’ve recently been told to work on this and I’ve kinda noticed it my self in the past, would you happen to have any other tips on how to train your body to get your foot up there faster? Thank you
what is he talking... When you're not fast it's always not enough force in time! ALWAYS! Forget anything else. As charlie francis said: If you want to run faster you need more force! (in the proper direction of course) Forget high knees, stride length, frequency, frontside blabla, triple extension, contact time. They are not the cause for speed but the effect of groundforce/impulse. It can't be that difficult to understand. At least for some people.
An athlete creating large amount of force into the ground but has a long foot contact time would be slower than someone who can create equal amount of force with a faster ground contact time would it not?
