Celeste you are seriously a gift to this industry! I appreciate this episode ❤ and all of the guidance you provide. It’s life changing and so helpful during the ups and downs of adjusting after competing and learning how to live the lifestyle outside of the stage. when many of us have used food for comfort our entire lives. Learning to work through those habits I can never thank this information enough ❤

This is the type of video that every competitor needs to see. I always witness a lot of them complaining post show that nobody talks about these things when they actually do. Just to add to body image issues…what helps me as a competitor is understanding and knowing that it’s not a sustainable look. So although being shredded looks cool as hell, I detach myself from the notion that this is the best I can look. Instead I like to think of it as “this is the best I look shredded” and then in my off/improvement season, I shift my thoughts to “this is the best I look being normal and doing normal people sh*t. I hope that makes sense lol

This was a great episode and an important topic!! Celeste made a good point that it’s so important to take preventative action before the show day so planning for post show before it comes. It just makes sense so that you’re not trying to figure out the “what now?” I did this preventative work this year and it’s been so helpful! Making post show goals outside of competing while also having some around the gym and such.

I have a subject that I would love for you guys to talk about, we women go through our period time, and myself I retain a lot of water and I get a lot of inflammation specially on my abs area, is very frustrating specifically on Prep week. I'm sure there are so many girls that have to go through that on a competition day. Do you have any tips for our bodies, our mental stage, and how to handle in general Thank you many blessings for you guys and keep doing this potcast I enjoy then very much they are very educated ❤❤

We get more satisfaction and reward from the ongoing, daily process than the fleeting ‘goal’ being reached; we get more satisfaction and reward from the daily, ongoing practice of eating in a reasonable, disciplined way versus the momentary, very brief pleasure of a donut/fatty meal. When we stop fetishizing fatty/overly-sugary foods as some amazing prize to look forward to, we grow up a little bit 😊
