I am a huge fan of Bilal as well as D'Angelo. D'Angelo is great in his own right. They are two different types of soulful artists; so for me it is difficult to compare them. They are both phenomenal and talented musicians.
I'm 17 & I think Bilal is the man!! It's a shame how people can't approach things with an open mind. Real artists evolve. You can't expect them to always put out the same sound. I commend B for pushing the boundaries & not conforming to the box people try to put him in. Real music lives!
This song always reminds me of me and my wife. We hadn't spoke for days one time and i put this song on and just stared at her. 😂. She got the point. I wish that could happen today.
He was absolutely AMAZING at the Black Cat! A birthday gift for my boyfriend. He was blown away by Bilal's on-stage musicianship! Unparalleled! Simply talented...
Love the Chicago Stepping at 2:47! Hope the day will come when people begin to really dance and enjoy good music again. Jubilee Arts is working to make that happen.
man, this is one of the best albums to come out in years, and i love this song, listened to this many times in the summer on my iphone while pushing my son round in his stroller 'cause he wouldn't sleep! LOL
I just LOVED the way this video ended...any man who brings me a big ol' cookie sure is going to get on my good side really quick, that's for sure (LOL!!). :-D Bilal knows how to make us smile and continuously write great music...I am diggin' him for life!
his vocal range exceeds any range john legend has ever even tried to attempt. once you deeply listen to bilal and his live performances, you'll see that Bilal can see do what John Legend does and MORE. he's just literally been underground for about 13 years due to no record label and a leaked album ect..
interesting, that was the one song I didn't care for as much on the album. always interesting to see what others like. This (Back to Love) was the song that i let linger on repeat for a long while.
Bilal is making incredible music. Getting great reviews by the music press and is selling out shows. Everybody, the album is out now so support good music!
@smokie, every one is entitled their own opinion my man after all, 'Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder', I guess in this case the ears. I'm a huge fan millions times and over of Bilal and love the track and the video. The video is simple and direct, beautiful. People are used to shit music videos and songs that are meaningless... Quicy said it, 'a song is not good enough to sing if it can't inspire'. Thats what Bilal does, inspire.
People always hating on someone's efforts to think outside the box. It's great to hear something besides, ass shacking, sex um up and down and all that other junk. Great Sound!!!
