Love those old IH Super H, Super M, 300, 400, 350, 450 and 460 560 656 706 756 856 1206 1256 hard to beat those old babies. Loved the old John Deere's too. Grew up on John Deere 70 came out with power steering in 1955 I was 4 years old. If Dad left it idling there would be a hole in the ground where the front wheels set when he came back. Also he bought a double seat so I could sleep laying down while he worked. Haha he would set me off at end of field then by the time he returned the next round I was good to go for one more round then the process repeated. Double seat let him get a lot more work done while I slept on his lap laying down. Those were the days. Went by in the blink of your eye it seems
I used to get up at the crack of dawn and plow all day long love the smell of fresh turned dirt now all of acreage we used to plow is covered in houses missing the simple life
I can still remember when we got our new heat houser for our JD G. Oh the heat that came off the motor felt so good. A strong tail wind still would get you but it was so big of an improvement over fall plowing on an open tractor.
Even with that stack of wheel weights she was spinning every now and again way more fun when you run out of traction before you run out of Clydesdale Power.
