gangstalishis I guess your right. I went earlier in life and went for what I personally consider to be a useless major ( in my opinion) now if I'm lucky enough to have the opportunity to again I think I know what is major in and do differently.

Sculpin As an education major, I'd say don't include education majors as a good choice in major. It is pointless majoring in education. If you want to become a teacher you should major in the subject that you want to teach and then get certified.

Mike Pantaleo - My Mom just passed too. Sorry for your loss. If I was a young man, I’d get an apprenticeship in HVAC or some other trade. By 25 you can open your own business, make bank and be a respected man in the community. Everyone has a heating and air conditioning plus there is a serious shortage of young men with these types of skills. A Regarding Bills comment about the social aspect of college, that is true but what is also true today is men are targeted often for no reason and you have to listen to Marxist propaganda by nutty professors. I just closed out my rental contract for 5 rugby playing/wrestling college students on Saturday that just graduated. These are masculine young men that are not pussies and good guys. They had lots of horror stories about being "called in" to admin offices for ridiculous complaints by women. Mostly these complaining women are ugly, fat slobs that are beneath these alpha men and probably have some mental issues. These bottom-feeding women are actually being rewarded for "virtue signalling" by attacking men who are literally out of their league. One said he was called in for calling a college girl...wait for it..."girl". Ridiculous.... I also have a customer that is an association for traditional blue-collar work and I know they are desperate for young men. The average age for most of these high-paying industries is like 50=55 years old! There has never been a better time to be a self-employed journeyman in one of these fields. Good luck!
