Fuck was not expecting that surprise left-field tackle by Conan at the end. Bill was good even then, but has refined like a true master of his craft. It's awesome to see Bill and Conan knew each other then.
WOW!! I'm watching this for the first time in 2021. Watching young Bill get noticeably excited when the audience finds the punchline to his jokes is actually super heartwarming. This must have been a huge step for him in his career. And I'm SO glad I watched it to the last second bc I CAN'T believe this was actually on Conan!!! Who knew this hidden gem was probably actually his first Conan appearance. This is one of the reasons why I really fucking love the internet. Christ i have never seen him so young. Still already funny as hell. He might look back and think he was horrible here, but the south park creators think the first several seasons were absolute trash, and i own many seasons of that show, and there is some funnier than balls stuff in the first few seasons. This is some of the same kinda content from a young bill. Dude Had and HAS it.
He always says how much of a Psycho he used to be. But this Bill seems much calmer than the post booze, therapy, shrooms, weed, porn, bill we all enjoy today.
