Had one of these idiots arguing with me about how 90 percent of accidents happen 2 miles or less from your house. No fucking shit? That's where you drive the most.
@@seekerrild4629 you need to understand the psychology fact behind it tho. It's the same why work accidents mostly happens in the last 15 min of your shifts. Shark attacks human on the coast, they mistaken you for a seal. Don't see much seals off the coast, do you? The kind that lives in north America are called harbor seals. He's saying you need to understand the facts before getting conclusions too quick. That's why I love Joe Rogan, he finds answers before pretending anything.
@@seekerrild4629 There was a study that was done that found a strong correlation between the ice cream sales and number of shark attacks for a number of beaches that were sampled. Conclusion: Increasing ice cream sales causes more shark attacks.
@@jackkennedy5211 joe rogan hosting a bill burr and dave chapelle podcast??? Are you out of your mind??? Are you for human extinction? A pod cast like that would literally kill millions of people, thats how funny it would be It’ll be like the movie the ring but you would die after 7 seconds instead of 7 days
@@rjw7227 nah, but you can hit a target decently well. There’s some people who can shoot like hell, but hitting a target from 100 meters with a pistol isn’t really that hard
No. Shotguns have a fairly small spread, depending on the gun and the round used roughly 15" at 10 yards. Also if you're not able to hit center mass with a pistol then either you're really far away, or you have no idea how to shoot a gun AND have some serious vision problems.
My friend in high school showed me this the very first time I asked him who Bill Burr was Ever since I have also showed other people this exact clip Every single time I have made those people lifelong bill burr fans
These guys are by far my favourite comedians, of our time. They are both extremely good at what they do: they are quirky and hilarious while also being brutally honest, without sugar coating facts to be politically correct. Many other comedians make me laugh too, sure, but these are just better because of their honesty / the messages behind their shows.
@@iiRaWDaWG yeah, but it's still ironic to hear all these people praising him as a freedom of speech hero who isn't afraid to speak his mind and hurt feelings and be a man and all this shit... But he doesn't know anything about guns.
Bill Burr will always be my favorite. In a world where everyone go out of their way to be offended over every little thing, Bill Burr is there to give them something to really cry about🤣
I know Billy was on Chappelle show but I NEED to see these two do a collab together this year of some sort even if it's just on Bills podcast. These two really know how to point out faults in society without hate and make it fucking hilarious
Hello i think we should stop using GOAT, the goat gets on the stage to be sacraficed and slaughter for the community and i think Bill is the Greatest of all time too, but i think he deserves that we say/write that too and not just a acronym
@@yasuke7551 i know except the spelling, he is also a ,,precious insightfull genius,, so lets call him pig, but in a way all that is besides the point if you think someone is the ,,Greatest of all time,, doesnt he deserve that me make that little effort and say or wirte that completly and not just use an acronym?
“A shotgun isn’t something you can just come home with?” Has to be one of the funniest city boy lines I’ve ever heard. Out in the woods that’s just the wife saying “he bought another AR”
I'm in the woods, off grid, North Canada.. Saw a cougar yesterday don't see them normally. It's bears most often I see.. I have a bow, I use for deer, and in an emergency, and a bolt stunner for harvesting /culling livestock. In 10 years my wife and I have been building this homestead, not one time have I ever needed a gun.
@@ZarkowsWorld don't need luck or guns cuz I ain't an American coward idiot. Good luck with your theocratic police state shit hole back water third world gutter you call a country.. All I have is rights like a right to medical care, education, privacy and complete freedom from Religions stupid. And no guns nuts!!!
I work at a gun shop in rural West Virginia (meaning I deal with those poor white people Dave's talking about). While obviously it's a bit of a characterization, it's honestly way too accurate.
@@johncadden202 Lol a .22? You aren't basing that off Bill Burrs opinion, are you? You can hear and see perfectly fine with a 9mm after shooting it. I would agree with him from there on up, deafness would be a problem with the others above it. But 9mm does me fine, I shoot without protection all the time, never makes my ears ring. Takes about 10-20% of your hearing, so still manageable in a dark bedroom. If you don't know what skit I'm referring to, please reply and I'll post the link. It's hilarious.
@@lennartbehrendt788 Buck shot: 5mm-ish balls (depending on the manufacturer) in multitude. Slug shot: One really big bullet approximately 3/4". Both would make for a really bad day for the target.
Ya, that is funny. Good catch. You know. if you were to use a colon between the 8 and the 3 at the beginning of your comment it would time stamp it and turn it blue so when people clicked on it it would take them right to that spot. The colon is the two dots, one above the other. It's next to the L on my keyboard. It's a pretty handy little trick when you want to point something out in a video.
Being white guy in the midwest, I can EASILY picture about 20-25 of my relatives saying "it'll punch a hole in the damn truck if you want it to"... so I believe this experience of Dave's is legitimate and authentic. 🤣🤣 I know Dave and Bill are both pretty liberal dudes, but I'm REALLY glad they aren't the typical coastal elite douchebag gun-grabbers, this was pretty relateable and definitely hilarious.
Bill is not liberal. he is as conservative as they come. Just because someone lives in LA does not make them liberal. Go listen to his podcast before you make dumb comments
@@georgeschaefer648 Yeah no he's not. I know a good deal about Bill Burr. I've heard him (from his own mouth) agree with Bernie Sanders about getting money out of politics, and that bankers are fucking over a lot of Americans. When it came to social issues such as religion and gay marriage, he couldn't disagree more with the Right. The only conservative things I've heard from him are the ethos of working hard for success, not relying on handouts. (which I appreciate very much) If anything, he strikes me as a Libertarian. But part of me thinks he's just nonpartisan and more like an old school liberal. Just because his brother ran for Senator in Mass. doesn't mean everyone in the family sniffs Trump's taint. He's socially liberal, fiscally conservative, and libertarian on a host of topics from law enforcement to guns. I don't see him as a conservative at all.
When my daughter was younger she called them daytime zombies. She made it a game to see how many she could count while driving (H addicts)... I figured hey why not...whatever gets her practicing counting in the double digits 🤣😂
WARNING: DO NOT watch this video while working out. Especially if you're doing heavy reps... I nearly tore something when Dave said "but that won't kill a man"
Anyone watching this and thinking about getting a shotgun and aren't too sure about guns. Buy a 20 gauge shotgun NOT a 12 gauge. Why? Because if you're not experienced, the 20 GA will protect you just as much as the 12 GA, but the 20 GA won't "kick" as much. Meaning, your shoulder won't be sore and you will be able to control your shots more efficiently. Also, 20 GA shells come in birdshot and buckshot as well:) Hope this helps.
a 20 ga wont kick as much but the amount of pellets or balls in the shell will be decreased due to 20 ga having a smaller circumference. which means generally a lower chance of hitting your target.
Whatever- I’d much rather get shot by the .20 gauge. Get the 12, and go out to a field and get used to it. Go through a box or two of shells so you have the feel of it.
@@primebeef3938 Let me explain the problem, I'm not a preacher or anything but there are a few scriptures I know and one will be helpful. Matthew 23:24 and I'll paraphrase, "..strain at gnats while swallowing a camel." I know a little out there, but the point is basically not seeing the forest because of the trees. For example, I 100 percent agree a 12 GA is better and more powerful, and I own one, but for one to suggest a 20 GA isn't enough to stop a man is retarded:)
@@ryanmarino9807 Uh, no. The whole shotgun spread is a cartoonized interpretation of reality. Shotguns have different loads. From bird to buck (all different sizes and powder) to slugs. You lose power from 12 to 20 but a 20 gauge is still twice as powerful as a 44 mag. It’s an excellent choice Edit: if you get a 20 gauge then get 000 buck
The guy selling guns is a fucking legend. Like I'm pretty sure he had a good idea what was up, knew Dave needed something for defending yourself and was more than happy to assist him.
It's dope to see two absolute masters of their craft at their best... Like those video compilations of Asians doing random jobs faster than you'd ever think was humanly possible.
I love that Bill Burr knows how to use statistics. The numbers and data aren't necessarily what matters but the circumstances behind them, and/or perhaps how you apply them.
Man, I love this bit by Burr, every line is hilarious. "I just want to shoot the guy, I don´t want to do a lot of drywall work, refrain my diploma, give my parakeet another friend" HAAHAHHAA
