There has to be a lot of great old footage of those three elsewhere, after getting into the O&A show you realize that they were all coming up relatively around the same time.
Nietzsche's No-Things - Was just about to say this. These 3 all came from the same era. Played the same clubs and hell gigs. And all turned out to be legends in my opinion. It’s pretty nuts.
Great pilot? ..He will tell you to your face .."WRONG!!" ..He said on his pod cast last month he's hoping to be good some day. That said he's way better than us of course, and with his focus and perseverance, he will no doubt be a great pilot at some point.
I think to myself quite often the amount of people who seen everything bill burr and are looking forward to watching ol billy head o'hair act in a movie playing Marshall Mustache. Most of his sahlipa BMW bandWAGON fans will be watching this old yet new billy! Billy burr footage within this weeks span.
Man, Billy Burr is so consistent. Back then his jokes and delivery, top notch. Louis, definitely improved over time. Louis, was like "hey, I got some jokes, wanna hear some jokes?.... "Did you ever notice when....blah blah" Overaoo, good shit. Was glad Bill pointed out the absurdity of the situation. It was a great ice breaker.
Yeah but there are no prizes for being the quickest to peak in delivery, style and humour. Louis CK kept working and when he finally reached his full potential, he left Burr far behind. It doesn't matter that it took him a bit more time.
@@elsamsung1133 I don't think he left Burr far behind. I think both Burr and CK are genius story tellers. I'm dying to hear CK do a podcast himself. Not like as a guest or on Maron or JRE. (Well would love if he spoke to joe) but proper Louis internal monologues. Burr is a champion. And CK is a legend
@@quirkypurple Have to disagree. Burr's delivery puts me off after about 5 minutes. And his subject matter is too preachy and off-putting. Plus he has a limited repertoire of 'punchline underscoring' (not sure how else to reference that) - whereas Louis CK will suddenly have you laughing hysterically but without you (always) predicting when the joke would come or 'how' the funny part would be delivered. It's very natural and he never sounds bored or tired. Burr often does and that's likely due to his chosen 'shouty' style.
@@elsamsung1133 @El Samsung I disagree. I used to kind of have your view points. There was a time when I wasn't much of a Burr fan. I dont think he's any more preachy than Dave Chapelle, Ricky Gervais or Chris Rock or even CK. It's an angry guy letting off steam. And sometimes what he says is kind ignorant, which he will self-deprecate and acknowledge. But what he's good at is making an audience come around to ideas that seem a little controversial.. its bringing the audience to that line.. and taking them over it. And yes. They have different styles! Thats what makes stand up great. Thats why I like both of them! Because they are two of the best comics today! Burr is a comic's comic. The respect he has among other commedians is great. Fortunately for me, I can enjoy both. Because I appreciate their differences. And, I got to see Louis CK live! I'll catch Burr nex time he comes to Ireland (hopefully). And.. if you follow the conversations on podcasts by comics Burr is considered the best all the time by the likes of Patrice O Neil, Joe Rogan, Tom Segura, Bert Kreischer, Chappelle, Joey Diaz. He's part of the comedy store elite. Hes a new special nearly every year. The consistency is great. His animated show F Is For Family is great.
One of the greats. No one is widely regarded to be the best at any given week, if so maybe chapelle now, bill is definately up there, louis ck had his time before that. Even tho he is a giant, bill is still a little too underground and nasty to be *1
This guy is a natural comic. Great tonality, exceptional set-up, timing like a Swiss Watch and just the right amount of indignation to knock the punchline out of the park for a homer and then it's a relentless wave upon wave of set-up, home run. Quite possibly the funniest comedian I've ever listened to.
I love watching people translate stuff into sign language! Even though I don't understand the signs, it's beautiful to watch and I feel great that deaf people can appreciate the event too
Broooo same here, the patrice bit also killed me. Warms my heart to see comedians treat the deaf like normal people and just bring joy to them, Frankensteins lab rules btw
Bills my buddy and he did my show for the deaf and hard of hearing. The interpreter has been with me for years. Her name is Mara Zuckerman. Bill Burr is doing my next film die laughing 2. Check out my phone died laughing about a standup comic serial killer it’s free
Thank you I developed produced the shows. We did it for 35 years straight in New York City. Recently in Los Angeles Bill was on the show Troy Kotsur Academy, Ward winner for the movie, Coda, deaf actor.
Most comedians when they get famous they try to maintain a neutral/corporate friendly profile and in the process lose some authenticity. Bill Burr and Dave Chappelle seem to be the exceptions to this rule. Bill has maintained his voice and his character. Amazing set as always!
Holy damnit! Talk about stealing the show. Some of these signers are amazing! Although i imagine that something has to be lost in translation (trans-animation?). Comedy is already hard to translate with the spoken languages. Really cool kind of show and I hope there's more of this
Nobody realized this is his philly show before he figured out how to perfect it? Come on people! This man is a genius nobody should ever say anything bad about him period.
We see billy burr here still a bit rough and awkward while patrice was already super comfortable and naturally funny. I cannot imagine how much better he would have become if he didn't die.
After hearing this video is all about: *_Recording 2 single mono-audio channels; left Bill, right the public.., and adding them together as a stereo-audio/video._* Damn, no wonder, this is a comedy show for the Deaf.
