Oh man, I've watched this one probably thirty times, shown it to all my friends. Bill at his prime. Then he went and got married and I did the same.....oh man.....
Which showcases how much a brilliant writer he is. Believe it or not he actually writes down his material, you can tell by the fact that he repeats his routines in multiple shows. He sort of reminds me of Frederic Chopin, a Polish composer of classical music. I make this comparison because Chopin managed to give the impression that his music was improvised when he actually spent days and days on a single measure of music. The same goes for Burr, the guy actually writes these things down and prepares them for a show, but delivers them in a way that makes it seem completely improvised. Which is pretty cool. :)
No he said himself he doesn't write it down.. It's the same stuff but he makes it up on stage, and then uses the best stuff over and over again, and eventually has enough to do a special like this.
This man can easily just dance on the fire that is humanity. He reals from one aspect of insanity to another and I catch my breath, ..thinking no he won't GO THERE but yes he sure as heck will!!! I need a triple to listen to this man...I can't deny.
"I'm not angry. I'm passionate about my opinions and I want you to hear all of them before you get to talk again." Probably the most underrated line in the special
Seriously, this is like the fourth time I’ve watched this. Not only is he on fire, just goin and goin, but I have never heard a crowd laugh this hard and constant in any comedy show. So good
12, 20 show it to anyone who will listen..never gets old. He is absolutely the real kind of being I wish all would be. Just real!❤😂 Real and really, really funny! Really? 😏🍻
If you haven't laughed this hard watching anybody else, then you haven't watched Ralphie May or John Pinette on RU-vid. I dare you not to laugh. If you have a heartbeat, you won't be able to help yourself. 😂😂😂
Bill burr is the only person I’ve ever heard adequately describe just being a guy in the world and the day to day problems of it and plus he makes it funny as hell
@@JP-sm1zv And that’s why I will never buy an Apple Watch I stick with a G shock but again I’m also the asshole with an iPhone at least that’s only one with those fuckers can track me also it helps if you turn off the location then they can’t track you at all fuck the government
I think Bill Burr's bits are extremely well-written, a fact that often goes unnoticed simply because of how good and "raw" his delivery is. He's a genius.
He truly is! Everything is so connected even though he seems to be all over the place. And the way that he works the audience by setting a rhythm between his wild rants and saying something real and profound.
If I watched in the presence of an audience I would be howling. it's the same thing with listening to music, I personally don't start moving around and dancing lolol
I deal with this in real life lol hanging with a bunch of guys from work and they're all laughing their asses off and I'm hardly chuckling but I think it's funny af what was said idk lol
His Philadelphia rant is absolutely legendary. All the other comedians were booed and ran off the stage. Big Bill stood his ground and let those rude Philly people have it. He just crucified the Philadelphia crowd. Absolute legend. Google it.
Mahn, can't believe I'm just watching this about thirteen years later but this had me in stitches from start to finish. I laughed so hard, my head, face and stomach hurt. Christ!! Like no breaks at all. Thank you Bill
Yeah, for the longest time people told me about this guy the I reminded them of him and I'm glad I finally listened to him... A little pissed at my friends that this guy is who they associate with me... I've only poured beer on a midget once and I paid good money to do so...
Bagel666 just like Eminem. Even at a young age, I felt like I was the only one who could see what he was really doing. I felt like I was the only one who saw the good he was doing. Especially for the LGBT movement. It wasn't until his collaboration with Elton John that I felt a little vindicated around my friends & family. Em was and is an absolute genius with such a kind heart and soul who went through hell and then spent most of his adult life completely misunderstood. I'll love him for what he has done forever.
Timeless humor... and we can relate to his frustration. This video will be around for a l-o-n-g time. I think it might be one of his best - there are no pauses, no weakness, just pure solid material delivered in that inimitable Bill Burr style.
@@anabolicjesus6717 Somewhere between ‘I’m sorry you feel that way’ and ‘Walk your way out’. After that, they were still good, but he lost me at that Red Rocks Special last year. His podcast is still solid though.
@@rbnh9827 I definitely think Red Rocks was not as good as the astronomical standard he set, but I still think Paper Tiger was utterly amazing. I’d give Red Rocks 6/10, Walk Your Way Out 7/10. Paper Tiger and every other special 9+/10 imo
@@MrFeduka fr. I have “You People Are All The Same” at least 97% memorized, it’s so fuckin’ good. It’s vulnerable, uncensored, hilarious! 10/10, easily his best special.
I agree wholeheartedly. But not in a gay way.. hehe.. His descriptions of people and scenarios are brilliant. And I agree with him. He's one of a kind.
His voice and facial expressions are absolutely hilarious. He is just an innately hilarious person. He probably doesn’t even need to try, more often than not in his normal day to day routine, and gets more laughs than a little bit. Just a legend and he’s in my personal top 5 comics to ever do it. Carlin, Pryor, Murphy, Burr, and Chappelle…in no particular order. 😂
Me too!! Love this guy!! Probably my 10th time watching this particular one. It’s my favorite….that “old guy face” makes me laugh uncontrollably every single time!😂
@darksteel-vu1bz completely agree with you. He’s just funny funny. There are some comics who are good at nailing a punchline, great timing…others are really funny at explaining the minutiae, or the ordinary occurrences most of us don’t blink at or give a second thought to, and there’s a really REALLY unique comedian that has transitioned his act into ginormously funny storytelling about his life and the ups and downs (Ali Siddiq) Ali has locked that down. I’ve never seen a comedian bring an audience from gut laughter, to literal emphatic tears, and BACK to laughter in the span of 4 mins. It’s a ballsy, risky direction to attempt cuz if you can’t bring the vibe back up, you might as well walk off…Ali is so talented, he can do it. Check him out if you haven’t already…in terms of just being verbally, physically, and cleverly hilarious and being able to connect with so many people, I’d take Bill Burr all day. He vomits exactly what’s on his mind, regardless of feelings. Truth doesn’t care about feelings. He’s great 👍🏼
The phone number thing. LOL. I used to go off on clerks like that, too... "what? you want to call me for a date? Ok, I'm good for Thursday night, but Friday is wife night, so I can't do Friday night. Let's do Outback Steakhouse!." You know, embarrass them. Now that I've mellowed I just give them "867-5309... that's eight, six, seven, five, three,oh, nih-ee-inneee". F'n millenials missed the '80's so they actually enter it.
farmalmta 😐 no grandpa 👴 they just don’t give a fuck and inserted because they don’t give af. They don’t want your number . The Walmart and target owners do shocker 🙄. It’s not rocket science cool story tho 🤣🤣
The relay bit about the sandwich was hilarious. “Do you remember me??? No!!! ‘Cuz I don’t fuckin work here!!!” Bill Burr has broken the mold and is on cheat mode. Especially his voice and the way it cracks during certain bits.
This was, without a doubt, one of the best and funniest bits I ever heard in my life. And I am 63 years old. A few more years and I will look like that old guy he describes. Now I have to wait for my stomach to stop hurting. Thank you...
my girl just broke up with me, it was a three-year relationship, the only thing that distracts and makes me feel better is bill Burr! THANKS BILL I LOVE YOU
As a black dude I watch this in front of my coworkers of multiple races especially women. I put this and Bill's other specials on every day.❤ My sister gave birth to my nephew and I played this for her baby shower 🤣🤣🤣
This was my introduction to bill burr - late one night on netflix feeling good after a bowl or two and I was dying laughing. The next day I had to watch it again to make sure I wasnt just laughing because I was high. Bill Burr is the best - one of my favorite standup comics.
They took it off because he offended sombody at netflix. I think he made a joke about some Asian dude and the Netflix guy got offended on the Asian dudes behalf.
There are a lot of famous comedians these days thanks to Netflix, RU-vid. But Bill Burr will 100% go down in history as one of the greatest comedians of all time. In 20-30 years he'll be up there with Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Chappelle, Carlin, etc.
Chappelle was my favorite. Not really caring for his new stand up. Think it is mostly to tell messages, about how he doesn't care over being funny. Think Bill is my favorite now. Dave and Bill in skits were probably my favorite of all time. Wish they'd collab again with some new blood. (Not sure who. I hear Bill helped a few popular comedians yet I forget whom. Helped produce.
@@patricktinashe2812ABSOLUTELY nothing racist about his comments. Learn another word, racist is over used and very rarely spoken in the proper context...
@@patricktinashe2812God is racist then, because the fact He made black people a different color than white people to begin with ... He DIVIDED people based on color
I laughed my ass off..This is one of the funniest Guy's i have ever saw, every time i ever saw him he was great..he always puts me in a better mood..i would love to see him live..i wish he would come to Johnson City, TN. Or Bristol, TN.or Bristol, Va.. to the new Casino.. I would for sure be at his show..
Listen to patrice o neal on women onthe opie and anthony show, you'd love it. Patrice was burr's good friend and a profit you can tell their influence on each other
Every man on earth should have to watch this guy in there teens! Its everything a father wants to tell there son(s) delivered brilliantly. Your the best Mr. Burr... the best!
For me he was aways the best, extremely genuine and brutaly honest. He is hin everytime he's speaking no matter were, you bump hin on the street or during the show, no character like all others, literaly all others even Dave Chappelle have a persona on the stage, i don't like that not even a bit, but he still great so he's 2° on my list. People act like is an absurd to consider a white dude the best comedian, this people don't remember George Carlin.
I love Bill Burr! The first time I watched him I laughed sooo hard I was crying and my stomach hurt! 😂 I never get tired of his comedy. In my opinion him and Dave Chappell tie for 1st
This guy is a fucking legend, I just keep watching him and he fucking nails it. His fucking tv show about his family is amazing too. I am drunk just a disclaimer but seriously this guy is one of the best fucking comedians that have ever lived in over 100 years.
"I don't know..." .... "Ya' know?" .... "Don't listen to me, I'm just full of shit..." 1.) Bill, uh, yeah you DO KNOW, 2.) Yes, absolutely, we KNOW, thank you Bill for reaffirming what we know but need affirmation!, 3.) No, Bill, you aren't full of shit. Thank you, Bill, you are the last of the Mohicans.
