You know for a fact he aint bullshitting just from the little couple words he throws into between acting out his dad. Like the casual "gimme the pliers". That has to be a vivid memory of his and that's awesome he puts it into his career like that.
Think I probably would not like Bill Burr...but he is BRILLIANT. You can SEE the catharsis his stand-up provides for him. He relives those moments EXACTLY.

I can relate so much to this. I thought my dad was crazy too when I was a kid. He would also snap all the time. Now that I'm older and have my own family I can 100% see why he would go nuts every few days. God damn I should have should stayed single and been one of those weird old never married single dudes who you tell your kids to stay away from.
Dude, I've become that single dude (age 50). My closest friend is the mirror image of me if I got married. His son is my godson. I visit, have a great time...then leave when it gets too much. I still think I want to get married, but I gotta be honest, i've never gone to his house or talked to him and been jealous of his life. I must be missing something.

I used to laugh my ass off hearing about married guys being nagged canstantly! So today i'm married for 10 years, together with her for 15 years. Now i laugh at the poor guys who are thinking of marriage... There's nothing out there that can prepare you for what's coming!

Just because you survive it dosent mean its all good and well. For people who got married and survived most times they hated eachothers guts and wouldnt talk to eachother but they didnt believe in Divorce so they stayed married.

I thought I had seen all of Bill's clips multiple times, I guess not and I am glad I haven't. Something to look forward to. I cant get enough of this guy. If there is a better stand up working today I have yet to see it. Yes, Louie is really good, but Bill is the best to me. I think I have a little man crush on him. LOL
