It was touching to hear Bill unintentionally revealing his fears as a dad. When he read that letter from the young dad, he said "your daughter is going to see so much of your life." Both Nia and Bill were over 50 when they had their second child. It's got to be so scary for them worrying they might not make it through all the milestones. Maybe that's why they both seem like awesome parents..
Norwegian here and I hate it when people start talking shit about Americans for no particular reason just to make them feel better. Yes our cultures are different but I have only met 1 American in my life that I didn't get along with. Most I've met have been very welcoming and some are even close friends of mine.
I'm a Fin and have only met 1 american period. But he was a very nice guy from Tennesee, I was in the hospital and went outside to smoke a cigarette in my hospital glothes and was listening something on my headphones and he started talking to me and immediatily I realized that he is either crazy or a foreigner to speak to a stranges here and we had vey nice 20min conversation, he had lived 20 years in Finland with his Finnish wife, but still didn't speak a word of finnish even he tried to learn it in classes.
There are no penguins that far north. I am an American who lived in Iceland for 3 years and yes they are different. The place is clean, they are very educated, they are advanced so this gets to their heads.
Not sure what Bill meant by the potato famine being a genocide. There really was a blight on the potato crop in Ireland. England didn't help matters by continuing to export food outside of Ireland. They were certainly guilty of being greedy and unfeeling. But genocide? Sounds like revisionism.
Correction: Scandinavia is Sweden, Norway and Denmark, while the "Scandinavian Peninsula" is Sweden, Noway and Finland but Finland isn't a part of scandinavia itself, just the peninsula.
@@robertburch3813 I get you, but similarities has nothing to do with the point I was making about which countries are officially included within "Scandinavia" and the "Scandinavian peninsula.
@@robertburch3813 Finnish people are not more "russian" or have nothing to do with russia you idiot. Culturally closest countries to Finland are other Nordic countries, closest genetic relatives of Finns are Estonians and Swedes, language couldn't be more far away from slavic and Finland shares the same protestant church as other Nordic countries. Actually it's the opposite. Danish, Norwegian and Swedes are closer to russia because they are genetically and linguistically closer to eastern slavs than Finns are. Learn some facts before you make your stupid assumptions.
Actually, both definitions are wrong. It's only Denmark and Sweden. When did Scandi/Skåne grow legs? All those countries are called Nordics not the name that is in Sweden. If you're referring to the geopolitical name during the Scandinavian agreement it's still wrong. It's not your fault though even in the north the education of young minds are failing.
😂😂😂 Bill is reacting as any American would, thinking the rest of the world is the same as in the US, granted there are idiots everywhere, like that cabbie he mentioned but Scandinavians are usually great
