@@henrykim1532 Mark is a little shy as it is, plus he is relatively new to being at the table with the big boys. Imagine sitting next to someone you look up to at a roundtable discussion. There is a part of you that is afraid of saying something stupid.
Because Burr is the biggest white guilted person in the world, and Mark has to Tip Toe around Burr when making jokes about race. Meanwhile, Patrice would have laughed at that shit no problem.
Bill is always honest even about his own faults. I love how he isn't afraid of being controversial or go against the PC game. He doesn't do it for shock value. You can tell he's being himself. Also you can tell he's empathetic and cares about people but he won't coddle people just to make them feel better. He isn't afraid to be in tense situations and doesn't roll over just to ease the tension. Love how he tries to see things from different angles and is aware of varying perspectives even if he ultimately disagrees.

He grew up watching them on tv... I’m 3 years younger than mark but I remember bill on Chappells show and Patrice specials on Comedy Central and web junk 20. They WHERE the funny under rated guys back in the early 2000’s
He talks about social anxiety, maintaining eye-contact and body language in an episode of Take Your Shoes Off, going into how he often comes across in these kinds of situations. Really interesting but a summary is he's part nervous-looking, part actually-nervous.

Sam is shining in this one! I honestly don't understand all the hate he gets. Sure he's not a comic genius like Ant or Jimmy but he's a hell of a lot more entertaining and better at intelligently participating in the conversation than Opie ever was.

best balance ive seen to jim and sam, i would love if jim and sam could add bill as a third mic or even mark. imagine this every show and then adding production bits and topical segments like commenting on recorded weird news clips
