He came across as smart and likeable when he called in to Joey Ingram's show, and he seemed very cool and nice on Nick Vertucci's show. Every time I see him at the poker table he's awful though. :D
Not really a tough spot that's one of those if you call and lose is what it is it's like getting set over set sometimes you just gotta call especially against certain opponents
Agreed Bill played it in a way that he has already got nuts by the turn so that Andy will just call and he can ship it on the river if the board doesn’t get paired
Everyone’s a chat pro when they can see the cards…Andy’s been a killer and winning player since the beginning. If Bill had Ace high flush, I bet all the comments would be “easiest fold. What bluffs could he possibly have here”. Smh
Man that was a NITTY fold by Andy. I mean this was a 3-bet pot preflop and Bill RARELY 3-bets preflop. Klein either has the nut flush or Andy’s ahead. Also with Andy raising the flop I am positive Bill didn’t put him on a straight.
I have a question. I have 5c4c, board is 6s 7d 8h Ks 3s. I bet 3/4 on the flop, button and cutoff call. On the turn I bet about 3/4 again, cutoff raises to like 3x ish, button calls, I call. Now I check on the river and they both go all in? I am getting around 4/1 to call but I fold. Cutoff had Qc8c?? And button had trip kings. I am still relatively new to poker and this hand has been annoying me. Was this as bad a fold as I’m thinking?
@@GrizzlyAdams101 Doesn't seem like a bad fold. Often, you are way behind against two ops. Backdoor spades doesn't help either. In the long run, a fold is the most profitable play IMO. What was your perception of these two players?
I've seen Bill turn a hand into a bluff in this manner on the river 3 times now. It's starting to form a pattern. The vs Galfond hand, then there was another one like this on live at the bike and then this one.
Lol bill played that perfectly actually just cold calling all them streaks and make up value on the river by jamming the story was already told and it worked out
Oh Tuchman, bless your heart. If Bill raises turn, even a minraise to $32k would make the pot $102k leaving him with $59k behind. That seems bad, it would give Andy too good of a price to call turn and river. Bill's second option would be to shove turn for $91k over Andy's $16k which is a bit much. Bill played well here and I haven't even finished watching what Andy did on the river, so it's not results oriented.
Think you have to pay this off. With the reraise pre and the way this was played. The potsize + bet on the river. I'm not loving it at all but i think i pay this off.
Hard to say if its a bad/good fold but its very understandable as bills range preflop for 3bet include suited ak, and when andy raise the flop its also a very strong indicator that he could be on flush draw. All in all not a clear cut bad fold
I agree if I had nut flush, I likely raise turn and shove river, but if Andy had called turn raise, he would've been pot committed. Bill would've likely had a pot sized bet or less behind. Better to call turn, then shove river, making it easier for Andy to fold.
andy evidently overfolds in general to big bets. In this instance, as played, and especially given Bill Klein's tendency to make these crazy plays (of bluffing with strong hands), it's clearly unambiguously a call. if he's got it he's got it.
@@王鈺齊-p1p At best he has a set. Not likely. More likely he has over pair or big ace. I’m saying that isn’t even as strong as a set. You think Bill would do that raise pre flop with 9/10? Don’t know how you fold there. If you think he can’t raise pre with middle pocket pair then you would somehow have to be convinced he has AK of diamonds.
It was such a bad bluff, that it became a good bluff. Bill is never playing a flush like that. Wasn’t Andy at the table when bill bluffed Brian out of his shoes? Old man has shown to have bluffs. Interesting fold
Maaan, I dunno about that fold. Andy is usually a crusher, but this was basically just a pot-sized bet, Bill is known for making big bluffs, plus he'd probably do the same thing with a 9 himself for value and to avoid a tough river decision, so Andy chops vs. that. I'd fold to plenty of nits here, but Bill is not in that category. He can show up with so many hands that aren't a flush or T9 here
Bill is not "known for making big bluffs", he just does them time to time. Bill is literally "known" for the polar opposite overall style of playing. Somebody like Eric Persson is "known" for making big bluffs.
@@KrnRnner I probably should have said "known TO make big bluffs." My mistake. Just meant it's solidly in his range and something he's done a number of times in big pots. Some players in this game wouldn't have bluffs in their range here, and Bill isn't one of those. That and the fact that you're often chopping with a 9 makes it at least a questionable fold. I never said I knew the answer, even started with "I dunno"
@@blankoblanco This was a bad fold by Andy because it was a 3b pot and he only loses to ace high flush. Bill having the "capability" to bluff in this spot is actually irrelevant here. It's a bad fold regardless of bluffing tendencies/capabilities.
Bill could just as easily had the nut flush there; but, I just don’t see folding a straight, in this spot. If you’re beat, so be it. Wtf is Andy thinking?
Come on Andy you’re better than that. Look at Bill he looks really nervous. Plus what are the odds he was two diamonds ♦️ in his hands preflop Re-raise he has Kings or Aces…
Not to be result oriented like all these keyboard warriors usually are but Bill has so very few suited combos in his preflop squeeze range from SB, u just gotta f it and call
If he has AKdd he has it. Calling all day. He realistically should only have two - four hands (at a stretch if you give him KQ or 9-10dd) and he should check the river often to let Andy bet. Easy to say when seeing the cards, but I call. I can get behind a fold if it's for balance maybe, but playing the hand for what it is, I really think I put Bill on exactly what he had. The 8d is worse card in the deck, but still ... call 100%.
Bill's not going to 3 bet the flop with anything less than the top of his range. He's Not going to 3 bet pre-flop with 9/10. and no paint hit the board on the flop. Easy call.
This was in no way an easy call. People here in chat are absolutely clueless if they think it’s an easy call. That’s an amazing bluff, turning his aces into a bluff.
Billionaire Bill WTF yep dude's a billionaire guess he can afford it😂😂No pressuring Bill with a couple of 100 thousand$$ bet Better make SURE you got the best when you play a big hand with him though😂😂😂
Lately, Andy, has had bad turns and run outs, maybe that’s been a major factor in some of his bad folds I’ve seen him make. I’m usually a huge fan of his play, but ever since the Q8 hand vs. Double M, he’s been disappointing to watch… Seems he’s been playing scared money. That’s not the Andy, I’m used to watching. I hope you find your game again and be the beast that you are! Good luck!
