don't take what he said literally though... it will certainly mess you up for a couple hours or more, depending on your tolerance, but that's about it. i'd rather just smoke a joint though, cos i don't really like the feeling of my lungs being filled up with a ton of smoke that fast.
first time i had a gravity bong hit, i torched the entire bowl and inhaled all of it. i then proceeded to have a 15 minute coughing fit and had to go sit in my car for an hour because of how insanely high i was. grav bongs will murder you.

I was a security guard at the Pepsi Center in Denver when they played in 2006, and the band after the concert had a get together in one of the lounges. After they left I had to lock the doors behind them and on the dry erase board he drew a pic of an angel smoking a joint, and their were roaches laying around. I took them home and rolled them into a joint. Good shit. Thanks for the joint Green Day! Only other band to do the same thing, leave weed, was The Mars Volta. Good weed as well.
"Gravity Bong A.K.A Bucket Bong" Step 1. Fill a 10 liter bucket with water. Step 2. Cut the base off a 2 Litre soft drink bottle. Step 3. Make a hole in the lid of the Soft drink bottle big enough to fit a bowl into (I prefer using a small gauge socket from a wrench and socket set). Step 4. Push the bottle into the bucket, fill the bowl with preferred weed ignite weed while slowly drawing soft drink bottle upwards. Step 5. Remove the lid of the soft drink bottle, cover the opening with your mouth and slowly push the bottle downwards while inhaling. Step 6. Thank me :)
no he's not. i totally see where he was coming from, but like Bill Maher was saying, it wasn't designed for pot smoking to be more inconspicuous, it was to make it less unhealthy. smoking anything isn't good for your lungs, obviously pot smoking doesn't harm you nearly as much as cigarettes, but the fact that some young people out their think it's completely harmless isn't good. i think what it does chemically to your brain is harmless for the vast majority of mentally healthy people; however, if you're not mentally healthy, it's not very good, and if your smoking it, it's not very good for your lungs, and you're not getting any of the proposed health benefits that you can get when eating it. anyways, i can see how some might think vaporizers are dumb or how it's just a was of hiding pot usage, but if you're a long time smoker, or plan to be, then i think it's wise to mainly use a vaporizer, and then smoke joints or bongs etc. when you're with friends or at a party. that's just my opinion though, take it for what it's worth. there are obviously people who've smoked their entire lives without vaporizers, but also keep in mind, you can find cigarette smokers who live long as well, and we know cigarettes are terrible.
8R014V I agree. The health standpoint is where I thought Bill was coming from. But the benefits are still there when consumed. Ingesting it is probably the safest way.
i mean to be honest smoking a bong, at least your smoking the plant it’s self not joint or blunts , but honestly vaporizers still have metal and nickel in it.

Once your are more used to it, it can enhance creativity without the wired sense. Maybe you are a better psychiatrist because of it. Both vaporizing and burning actually clean out the lungs. lol , gravity bong is just called "eimer bong" in germany , thats nothing new , thats a old way of smoking almost nobody do anymore today , 15 years ago we had fun with it.. works also in Lakes
Yeah he didn't say it was new. He actually said it was old and that back in the day it was new. Green Day was huge in 1994. So your "15 years" ago story fits pretty well into his story about smoking weed through his life and career considering they had 3 very popular albums by 1999 (and probably their 3 best).
