I am a Centrist, and understand where Maher is coming from.

I’m a Christian leaning conservative on a lot of issues and I love bill He is smart, funny and listens to people. And he helps me understand things I don’t understand from people that don’t think like me.

Don’t agree with much he says but at least he’s willing to have a conversation with people who think differently

Bill speaks for the forgotten majority in the middle in this Ununited States.

Not only is it entrapment it’s child abuse and should be punishable by imprisonment

I’m a conservative but I like Bill. He’s not scared to talk to the other side and says what’s on his mind. I also enjoy his podcast Club Random. He gets a lot of conservatives on there.

Yessss. There are SOOOO many of us who are not extremists and we do not feel represented by either side.

I disagree with Maher about a great deal, but I appreciate that he has maintained his stance on the woke nonsense. It's so easy to cave to the pressure, as you can see with nearly every other celebrity.

I have just watched your interview with Bill Maher & believe that he is where most Democrats & Republicans really are today. I am a conservative but not a Trumpster. I really believe that Bill is right & we need someone in the "Middle" to stand up for the middle.

This whole thing with "gender Identity" has gotten out of hand. It seems to be a point of honor or pride to stand up and say you're 'different' and go to extreme lengths to show it off and expect the entitlement. If you don't feel comfortable in the body you were born with; a guy who wants to be a girl, or a girl who wants to be a guy, whatever. You can make all the cosmetic or surgical changes you want to prove your point, but never, ever forget that you either have XX or XY and there's NOTHING you can do to change it, so live with it and don't expect special treatment because you didn't get the one you wanted, and deal with being limited for the rest of your natural (?) life not being able to fully cross over and pee in the opposite sex bathrooms, play sports for the "other" team or get a job based on what you feel you really are rather than what you are capable of doing. To convince young children who are not capable of the judgment to decide what they really are yet is truly abominable, and should not be the purview of anyone outside the family. It's nobody else's business.

Why I'am voting for Trump, 2024.

I disagree with Maher on many issues, however that does not matter. He is funny and he is honest and we can laugh at our own weaknesses. He is also full of common sense. Thank you Bill. Great interview Megan!

I think Bill Maher is a decent dude. He's very consistent about his opinions, and it's good to hear people that were traditionally on the left saying "Hey, we still believe X, Y and Z, but this woke/radical rhetoric needs to stop." That is just important to America as the right getting what it wants.

Bill Maher isn’t wrong on the trans issue. Bill is one of the old school liberals of which I was one. The problem with the right, at least on the fringes, is that they are not willing to dialogue and persuade people like Bill. The key, in my opinion, is not to hit a home run on the first pitch. You win by dialoguing over and over again and engaging reasonable folks and convincing them of the reasonableness of your argument. Do not not aim your dialogue at the folks that are unreasonable. Such actions are a waste of time. Think of it as o e who is trying to g to cut a tree down. You don’t take a giant swing and then give up when the tree doesn’t come down. You keep coming back and engaging. It doesn’t make for good ratings on cable news, yet it does win the game over time.

I really like how these two can get together and have a debate without hating on each other. That's the way it used to be. None of this "baby girl" bs.

This has to be the best of the recent Bill Maher interviews. Tense moments but still mutual respect. I can only hope Megyn has an impact on Bill. So much he was unaware.

Jordan Peterson posed the question: at what point has the Left gone too far? So far, no-one seems to have a clear answer.

I always say I'm a true blue democrat. I admire some progressive policies, specifically regarding universal healthcare and wealth redistribution, but I also reject the severe wokeism that has infected younger, leftist circles. Even If I disagree with Bill, I RESPECT him and whatever opinion he is espousing, because I know he thoroughly thinks out his opinions--something most people (Megan Kelly included) don't always do. I always find it extremely alarming when a comment section is filled with people throwing character assaults at a person because they disagree with one or two opinions they have (unless, they are abhorrent opinion akin to racism and sexism and homophobia). You may disagree with Bill sometimes, but you can't undermine his intelligence.

He was hard to watch. He sounds exactly like a friend of mine with that underlying arrogance but badly informed deranged opinions. You can’t converse with them. It becomes ugly very quickly. Bill isn’t nearly as informed as he believes himself to be. He needs to get out of his bubble. I’m very sorry Megyn didn’t bring up the Twitter saga and Democrats behavior during covid. He seems to be such a lover of democracy, why isn’t he irate about the alphabet agencies denying people the right to information from very reputable clinicians? There is so much he should have been called on but wasn’t.

Don't get me wrong, I can't stand the republican party but my politics are very close to the conservative American first side. Amazing job holding your own Megan...one of the many reasons I choose to listen to your show weekly. You know the facts, you're fair and truly balanced....and even though I may not agree on all your positions, I do believe you research the facts and present them thoughtfully and with grace. Bravo! Great interview!! Bill Maher is difficult to listen to, but you challenged him to support his positions and on many points....he couldn't! Checkmate! We need to have more engaging conversations like this with our fellow Americans who have different political philosophies; engaging in the arena of ideas and being able to challenge one another to think critically...and still remain friends. Unfortunately, I'm afraid we're far beyond that in this time in history. I hope and pray we can come back around to common decency and mutual respect regardless of our opinions and truly stand as citizens of the United States of America.

I have tried multiple times to communicate with my Democrat "representatives", and they REFUSE to engage with their voters on the subject of trans ideology. I am FED UP with being ignored by people who expect me to vote for them out of tribal loyalty.

Bill is the "Neutral" in the car transmission shift gear. Not too far gone backwards in "reverse", not to ahead using the 2nd gear without reason to use it.

Just watched the complete interview... As intelligent as Bill is, I was amazed by how much stuff he doesn't know. Like cops being killed on J6, thinking Hunter's laptop had nothing more than d**k pics, Hillary denying the election results, etc... My respect has grown greatly for him over the last year or so, but he lost a few points with me on this one. Megyn was very fair and graceful in their disagreements, and Bill regularly and disrespectfully dismissed her with snarky chuckles. Anyway...

I am a man. And as a man I think Megan is the perfect combination of smart and beautiful.

Maher is an opponent you could strike a compromise with, but not an ally.

Two things grab my attention here: 1) Why is it when I watch interviews on RU-vid, I see two normal people just having a discussion, no drama, but when I hear the TV in the background, all I hear is purposeful misunderstandings, manufactured outrage, and focusing on what appears to be bad. 2) It was refreshing to hear someone on the left point out the insanity of the "men can have babies" propaganda that has come out. I am quite appalled to admit that working in the classical music industry on the East Coast, I do not feel that I would have a career if I mentioned my opinion on the matter. And I think that this why a lot of centrist or former left voters are considering voting Trump: to have the hope that we could live in a world where we are not constantly punished for running afoul of a 'public opinion' which is really the wishful desire of a very vocal minority. Very interesting times we are living in. 😁
