A big special thank you once again to @70sFan for helping to uncover rare NBA footage. The film has been colorized from black and white, the frames have been corrected for natural flow and the clips were up-scaled to 4k.

I LIKE HIS ATHLETIC SKILLS BUT ''THE WAY I PLAY WITH 9 HOF ANY TEAM CAN WIN '' DRAYMOND GREEN WITH 4 OTHERS ALLSTARS LOOKED LIKE BEAST. BUT AFTER DURANT COUSINS LEFT KLAY INJURED HE TURNS INTO TRIPLE SINGLE. I LIKE RUSSELL DEFENSE SPEED BUT TO SAY HOW HE IS GOAT CAUSE OF RINGS THAT MEAN IGUODALA >>> OVER MCGRADY TMAC IS BEAST BUT IGGY HAVE 3 RINGS + FINAL MVP. STILL MCGRADY IS GOD JUST LIKE WILT

HE WOULD GO UP AGAINST PLAYERS LIKE BILL RUSSEL, WALT BELLAMY EVERY OTHER HOF PLAYER DURING THAT TIME.... AS HIGH AS TO 13 TIMES A SEASON...THERE WERE ALMOST NO FILLER GAMES WHERE WILT COULD STAT PAD...THE HOF TALENT BACK THEN ARE ,IMO, JUST AS ATHLETIC, JUST AS SMART, JUST AS SKILLED(relative to what the rules allowed them to do) AS MODERN DAY HOFers ALL STARS AND OTHERS: Dennis Awtrey: 6'11" Tom Boerwinkle: 7'0" Nate Bowmen: 6'11" Mel Counts: 7'0" Walter Dukes: 7'0" Jim Eakins: 6'11" Ray Felix: 6'11" Hank Finkel: 7'0" Swede Halbrook: 7'3" Reggie Harding: 7'0" Jim McDaniels: 6'11" Otto Moore: 6'11" Dave Newmark: 7'0" Rich Niemann: 7'0" Billy Paultz: 6'11" Craig Raymond: 6'11" Elmore Smith: 7'0" Chuck Share: 6'11" Ronald Taylor: 7'1" Walt Wesley: 6'11" TOM PAYNE 7'2 " GREG FILLMORE 7'1 CRAIG SPITZER 7'0 LARUE MARTIN 6'11 VIC BARTOLOME 7'0 GEORGE JOHNSON 6'11 WILLIAM SMITH 7'0 Notice how many 7ft players there were for a league with only 9 teams. This is because players had to be rotated out to match Wilt's 46 mpg career average both offensively and defensively. Teams would sometimes try to overload on the defensive end with multiple 6’10” players double or even triple team Wilt. Almost every team throughout Wilt Chamberlain's career had some version of this method.

@@12savage68 Yeah but whenever Jordan fans want to argue in the GOAT debate they always pull up 6 > 4 without context 🙄 But with Bill Russell they always want to pull up context cause it counters the 6-0 argument. Plus I literally spoke to fans who called Phil Jackson just a bum coach and was lucky to get stars to coach for. Like the f*ck? 😂 Even Shaq himself, Kobe, and Jordan, all praised Phil for his strategies and mentorship. And when they didnt listen to him they screwed up. Sometimes the success of a player in court is highly dependent on the coach's plan for that player, the plays the team practices. Unfortunately Lebron just never had a Phil Jackson level coach that wasn't a rookie. Cause even Spoelstra or Ty Lue were rookie coaches when they were with Lebron. Which is why Lebron actually became friends with Pop and had to learn to be a coach himself.

Bill Russell lived under circumstances we cannot really, really comprehend. His motivation was as much against racism as it was his competitive spirit. It goes back to when his college team won the NCAA title, and he was the MVP of the Final Four, but the title of "California Mr Basketball" was given to some blonde guy. That was when he decided, to try to win EVERY game. And he damn near achieved it. He deserves the utmost respect.

Bill could play in 21 century and be one of the best players among NBA elite players such as Cobe, Jordan, Bird, Magic...He lookes so powerful and limitless with his body and skill that very few today's players could match. RIP legend. Love from Serbian fan.

When they dribble, they really dribble. They don't carry the ball like in today's NBA.
