It's sounds similar if you just compare them quickly, but it's definitely not the same thing. What's going on in "xanny" is more complex. I think this dude has it right; that it's a waveform modifying the amplitude.

I think its just the stereo vocals on top of the 808's that make them sound that way

try this plugin called wider. It stereo separates whatever you put on it and wont cause phase issues also and on top of that its free

Although wider will definitely make things wider and still mono compatible you still don’t want to use it on sub frequencies so what I do is duplicate the 808, eq everything from low mids and down out of the new 808, and then make that wide as hell and mix it into the original mono 808 and that way just the main 808 is still mono and not weakened at all along with the top end of the same 808 super wide so it layers together and sounds like one 808 that is both strong in mono and wide and just putting wider or any stereo enhancement on the entire 808 won’t do that

@@NEMOBANDZBEATS Hmm that didn't work for me for some odd reason. Maybe I'll give it another shot.

@@1Latettaja1 it's not supposed to go in the mixer, you put it in the channel rack as a sound plugin, then link it to some control (like the volume fader)

Ya it could be easy to hate with the industry plant stuff but the production here is worth checking out

yeah i used to hate people for no reason at all too just by seeing them being famous but if you look into her explanations about how her songs were produced and how many hidden vocals and layers there are on ''When we all fall asleep where do we go'' you'll see that she is really talented and smart for a 17 year old(also checking some of her interviews you'll see that she is a really chill and kind person too!)
