I am lucky enough to get to know Billy and I am so grateful everttime I meet with him.Billy loves his privacy in the USA because in Great Britain everyone knows and loves him unlike here where not everyone knows him.

@@zackjoneskeywest7542 You're lucky to know Billy and live in Key West. I've not been there myself, but my brother has and he says when I get to a certain age to move there. He didn't say what that age was, but he said I would know when I reach that age. Billy loves his privacy in the USA as you mentioned. Which is why he lived in New York before moving to Key West. All the best.

Don't forget Billy was a war baby. But he became a man in the 60s and dressed accordingly, especially when the 70s arrived and he grew his hair long and wore flamboyant clothes. He developed a taste for outrageous clothes, different clothes, a taste that never left him. Which is why he wears the clothes he does onstage. He wore clothes he liked, he didn't care what other people thought. It is sad about his health these days. But I've seen many of his live gigs over the years including the High Horse tour, so I do have those memories to treasure. And the DVDs of course.

Yeah, true. But Neighbours and Home and Away are/were no more crappy than Coronation Street & Eastenders became from the late 1990s onwards.

Imagine how lame your life would have to be to find those shows interesting, or worse, exciting. Pablum for the masses.

@@SuzyQ334 Billy has said he watched Neighbours when he was in Australia, and he said the people in it couldn't act even with a gun to their head. But at least they smiled and laughed and it was sunny. He said Eastenders was so dour and miserable filled with junkies, Aids and violence it was unwatchable. Though it did make him pine for the rain he knew as a child.
