If I was asked who I'd want to spend eternity with. I think I'd have to pick Billy. I don't think you could ever get tired of listening to his stories and he seems like great person to be around.
@@chaoticneutral6288 who says i'm offended about people being offended? pretty big assumption on your part. in a way, i actually find it somewhat amusing that people in this generation cant seem to figure out what they are or are not offended by. and that often times, people get so offended over the stupidest things, and how they'll practically have a mental breakdown over something small that wasnt offensive at one point. i actually grew up in a generation where people werent so thin-skinned and easily offended over the smallest or the stupidest things.
I had the great pleasure of seeing Billy in person on 2 occasions. Each time I went with about 10 friends whom I had converted into "Big Yin" fans. This amazingly talented man overcame a difficult life as a young boy to become the hands down funniest human on earth. I have never laughed so hard in my life as when I watched him perform. He deserves all of the good things life can provide. Even though I can recall most of his humorous stories by heart, it still makes me laugh to see him tell it again. He is a world's treasure.
I think he slipped up there… ‘they used to drop me off in the morning.’ 😂😂 I love Billy, there’s no one like him and never will be again. The closest I think we came was the late Norman Maclean.
Natural genius and a delight to listen to and watch him.. I think Ricky Gervais nicked the Polar bear's nose bit for his own very funny take on Arctic hares v Polar bears.. depends which went out first 😅
@@pappy9473 you're entitled to your opinion but hundreds of millions might disagree along with the country of Scotland and I doubt Ricky will be getting a Knighthood real soon...although he is very funny in his own right..
@@markdziadulewicz6160 RV is not a sell out simply to gain popularity yet he is globally recognised. And a British monach will always pander to her masses...
I have seen Billy 2 times... And no matter how good or bad his jokes are, you are going to leave the concert with a side spitting ache from all the laughing...I remember he wa doing a skit about grapes flying out his nose or somebody's nose & the reason I can not remember who's because I was laughing so hard
Yes billy I watched it and seen this dvd and you might have killed the world. Warren my oldest freind serverd on on of the trident subs. You might understand the worry about the end of the world. My grandma was Anastasia the missing child of the Russian royality. You caused this problem Mr Brown.
I have no idea why people think he is humorous; prancing about, constant foul language, and always laughing at his own 'jokes'. Tommy Tiernan is of the same ilk. Just not genuinely funny.
@@DieFlabbergast On the greater scale of things Connolly has a small following compared to more complex comedians, who reach international audiences and cultures. Connolly, Tierney et al appeal to lowest common denominator audiences and do not draw the numbers that great humorists do. They rely on props, in the form of playacting, to mask the true person and their words which when exposed for what they are, are inane. The UK media can convince large portions of its public of virtually anything. I hope you laugh and smile each day, come what may.
