@@jasonodell79er what do you have against Freemasons there's 33 back bones in a spine and the g stands for Genesis have you never been part of a cool club that thinks they know more than everyone by illuminati be scared. Just having fun with you Billy strings is a phenomenon whether he hangs out at the crossroads I don't know
I will be 81 in July, and a big music fan for all of these years. Never have I been amazed by anyone like this. I live less than an hour from where he grew up in Muir.
I wish my dad were still alive to hear this talent at such a young age, my son now loves him and he is in his 40's. Next generation of Bluegrass lovers!!!
Billy is a great player and modest about it ! Everyone in this band is also great !!! Such a revitalization of American music !!! A gift to anyone who hears !
Awesome show, and superduper kudos to the boys for hiring on Alex Hargreaves on fiddlle as permanent member as this opens up many new musical worlds for them to play thru ..... :
What a fantastic bunch of musicians!!!... my son and I were fortunate enough to see these guys in Missoula Mt. Back in August!!! What a fuckin treat!!!
My boyfriend and I were also there! Such a spectacular show, wasn’t it?! Thank God for creating such talented people and guiding them to create such amazing music!💚
Billy and the boys are killin' it! I remember seeing them at the Narrows in Fall River not too long ago; them days long gone. Stadium shows are what these guys deserve, but I will always remember the small shows. I just hope they can do a multi-night run at the Xfinity center in Mansfield, Mass soon!
I know what you mean I saw Billy for the first time at hoxeyville, quite some time ago. Him and don julian and tjeir band were playing at 1230 on a sunday. They light he shines is bright and will get you. I have been to a ton of festival and have never saw so many people dancing at a sunday early show in August when it is hotter then hell out side and that was not a big festival.
Mmm. False Ruver. Massachusetts. Been there. Lol Elizabeth Bordon. Take axe give mother 40 whacks. When she see what she did she go And do more to someone else. Lol
Black clouds brought me right back to 1997 SCI in a farm field outside of Bozeman. I’m not even sure if they played that night but that’s where my mind is right now 😂
Amazing as usual? Does not make any sense. Oxymoronic. Amazing, and consequently, Unusual. Hell yes Larry thank you thank you thank you. Billy Strings Band might be facilitating international diplomacy one of these days. I love this music like life in it's beauty.
@@wolfsvision940 My comment was from a place of love. i am a huge fan. It's just a lot of responsibility for others when you get this big. That can be a huge burden.
as he starts playing bigger venues he will play less dates. I doubt he tours like this for more than another year, then starts doing more side project stuff
Actually he is creating bluegrass history. Carrying on the trading, exposing more people to the genre. Biggest influence since the Oh Brother Where Art Thou movie/album.
@@gerschmelz Bigger. They've got 4-5 albums out already, mostly of their own composed material. That is a careerful for many acts, and they're hardly getting started. They've played most of the big venues and festivals. Making money, hand over fist. Incorporate a huge amount of outside, inside bluegrass and own created influences in their music.Talent level is extremely high throughout the band. They're gonna be in everyone's Halls of Fame someday, and call this heresy, but if they can continue on this path, keep the band together and satisfied, keep their outside lives together, and have a little luck, they will one day be accounted right up there with Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs, and the Carter Family, and maybe even beyond.
