We ran into Billy the Kid all the way down in Florida! He brought his S10 and Nova out to back to back races that weekend. There were people doing wheelies and others who just couldn't get traction, but Billy managed to have clean and FAST passes on both days! Awesome to see him travel so far from Ohio and perform so great.

@@sykwookiee this is to you and the op...cannot tell you how happy I was to take my best friend/father to Milan dragway back in summer of 2015. Dad had his amigo scooter with full batteries, he was gone all day. I caught him in the press/photography box between the towers when they fired up twin jet engine cars. Everybody else ran. Dad sat right there on his scooter while they hit the afterburners, he did hold his ears. Those two jet cars left hard and dad was the only one sitting down there and he was laughing his tail off! I'm not making this stuff up, it certainly happened. He died the next year. Dad was disabled due to an on the job injury 24 years prior.

@williamstamper442 ...I have been to a couple of tracks since I was disabled...unfortunately, as my condition worsens, I can't tolerate riding in my truck...even my mobility vehicle is not comfortable enough for a day at the track...I am sincerely glad to hear that your dad got to do what he loved before he passed...I can't complain about my 20s because I did absolutely any damn thing I wanted...but the human body has a tendency to get pissed at you if you treat it like an amusement park...be well, raise hell!

Billy started his channel with that s10 and Tommy's blue s10.. they still have both. After 1st round the guy pulling his sunglasses down in the pink t-shirt leaning against the maroon vette is the legendary UNCLE BOB!!! He's the one who keeps the Hoskinson boys and others hauling with his well built engines.

15:40 billys front tire is off the ground as he is pulling the chute, viewed from the go pro of the guy hes racing as he loses control. Tin soldiers race cars chassis are no joke.

Seeing the S-10s running wild was awesome! My Pop had an '89 4.3, it was such a fun little work truck. I remember leaving the fairgrounds sideways and boiling smoke! Rust in peace "Betsy".

The best part of watching SRC grow is they come from humble beginnings and the cars they've built are what many of us build in our garages. Of course, as their channels have grown and sponsors come on board, their cars get faster with higher quality parts. If Allison's dad Jeff sells Dart Vader, I hope Billy can add it to SRC's stable. Then, they'll have all the big 3 represented on the channel and at races. Check out Gen 2 Garage to see the Dart Vader reveal. It's in good hands than if they're carrying it.. I love the family they're so authentic and genuine. They have some FAST cars also and know how to drive. This year they are going to be more competitive yet!! All the upgrades made in the off season they should be flying!! So looking forward to seeing the falcon fly with that new 388 and that truck continue to hurt everyone's feelings like always on the street and backsides. The Nova should continue to be consistent and should actually be faster with the new 540 since they got the oiling issue solved. He was going 4.80's on 20lb of boost not leaning on it at all he said he wants to start leaning on it see what it will really do.... He has the potential to be extremely scary with that car to other competitors. Hopefully this season he and Tommy win a bunch of races and Billy can finally snag one of the big races that he really wants like war in the woods. Keep kicking ass SRC!!!!
