My pleasure. I have a DX8 as well as the DX6i. The DX8 is backlit and I found that I could read the DX8 much easier when using the simulator so I installed backlighting. It requires a kit which can be bought on eBay and then to install it requires taking the DX6i apart and doing a bit of soldering. It isn't difficult but it does require a bit of soldering so it isn't for everyone.
