Yes! My go to order is a 10 piece lemon pepper wet all flat. Glad to see people are starting to take note of the lemon pepper wing popularity in Atlanta.
I live in Tunisia and I have access to only whole ingredients. I appreciate your including how to make lemon pepper the nice thing is I already make my own powdered lemon and garlic powder so I'm excited to put everything together and try these wings!😍 also I love your videos especially right before bed your voice is calming and your content is fantastic. Thank you for your hard work
Angular Momentum i live in Tunisia too and there are seasoning mixes and spices pretty much everywhere in grand markets such as géant or carrefour or even monoprix , so give it a try and explore it and i hope you find what you need c: .
I just wanted to say thankyou. I have recently started watching your videos and I've fallen in love. I've fallen in love with your style of cooking and cooking itself. You have helped me discover a passion I didnt know I had. I just wanted to say thank you and keep doing what your doing
No doubt. I've made a number of Babish's recipes (pizza, carbonara, cubanos) and I love the reactions they get from friends. This channel has been an amazing inspiration.
Getting invited to a youtube convention.. Sounds like it'd be full of impotent little wankers Babish deserves his own cooking show; he may upload here but he is nowhere pathetic enough to be peers with any of those people
As someone from Northern Europe, who considers himself somewhat well-versed on the general topic of "Europe", from a cultural, economic and historic perspective, what exactly is it that's supposed to be funny about this joke? What am I missing? Why is Western Europe a "wilderness"? Why are lemons accessible, but lemon pepper itself inaccessible there? These are all just guesses as to what this joke is trying to get at, but fundamentally, I don't have a clue.

Better off trying to ask the people at Feast of Fiction. They do a lot of cartoon stuff. Binging with Babish seems to do a lot more movies and live action tv shows.
wow, quality idea! Can we upvote futurama to the point where there's no choice but to make it? Pretty anything from Fishy Joes would be fun, and with the Manwich it would be hilarious if he never gets to eat it
Made these today and they were A1! But be sure to put the buffalo sauce on the chicken first, and then the seasoning. Also, just a heads up to NOT get baking powder confused with baking soda!!! I’ve seen several comments telling everyone the baking soda method doesn’t taste good...lol. Baking ‘powder’, while it contains a smaller amount of baking soda, it contains other agents that activates differently on the skin of the chicken so that it gets crispy and browns easier. So yes, baking ‘powder’ does work and it tastes great.
Cha Cha Malone just salt the chicken a night ahead then do either the flour egg flour method or the flour batter method. Once fried properly (we fry shit here in the south) dry off extra oil and the coat with warmed up buffalo sauce. Then sprinkle with lemon pepper. By warmed up I mean add franks red hot in a pan bring to a bubbly, add the required butter then toss the chicken in.
I do this alot for my own staff meals when I have wings, I'll Frankenstein some sauce and dry spice, toss in the sauce, pop it in the Sally for a bit then toss in the dry spice, and back in the Sally for a bit. Works great
There’s just something magical about these early Babish videos. Now that it’s too large and “expertly” produced, it doesn’t feel the same as these early days when it was just Andrew. This video brought tears to my eyes because everything just vibed so well.
Sergio Garcia may be health concerns with the condo burger... And the fact that the chemical in Mondo burgers, as well as the good burger sauce, is fictional.
DR. SAVAGE Best part about living half way across the world is that I'm 12 hours ahead and have a place I can get chicken wings right downstairs from my apartment 24 hours (it's Asia so they're all about including that nub in the mix and the sauces are different, but beggars can't be choosers).
I was born and raised in Atlanta. I never knew lemon pepper wet, all flats was a regional phenomenon. It’s interesting to read these comments. LPW is all this GA boy has ever known!
Thank you for thorough footnotes. I'm glad I know that there's not much of a discernable difference between homemade and store bought lemon pepper seasoning.
the best thing about this episode is that lemon pepper wings started showing up on menus up here in Nashville after this so I don't have to work for it if I want some lemon pepper chicken
I've never tried the wings in Atlanta. Have you ever tried they lemon pepper wings at Coop DeVile in Jacksonville, Alabama? They may give you a run for your money.
wilderness = syria :) thank you for the recipe, i’ve been looking for it for quite sometime now. I enjoy watching your shows, keep up the good work. Cheers
Made the Oven baked option you did in the video, never actually had Lemon Pepper wings before till now ( Minneapolis ). I will make these again for sure.
Whoa... I remember watching this video about a year ago, maybe more, and being like lol I live in Atlanta, maybe I’ll try those wings one day. Fast forward a few months, I’m visiting my brother at his college (GAtech) and asks if I’m down for the best wings ever. Little did I know that it was the same place in that clip! the original J.R. Crickets.. since then I’ve gone twice, but didn’t get the lemon pepper wet because I had no idea it was the same place from this video. I’m losin my mind. Next time I go (soon, j.r c still has the best wings I’ve ever eaten) I’ll get lemon pepper wet, cuz now I’ve got no reason not to
TIL I learned I've been eating Lemon Pepper Wet for years and didn't even realize it. When I make wings, my go-to recipe for sauce is Franks, butter, lemon pepper, garlic salt, and some fresh cracked black pepper. I'll throw in some Last Dab if I'm feeling spicy
I was lowkey kinda disappointed that apparently making fresh lemon pepper isn't that much better.. cuz it looks pretty fun to make! What's been the most fun recipe to cook so far?? I really really want to try making the timpano you had made some time... just to torture myself.
The upside is not letting that precious lemon find go to waste if you happen to have lemons! And probably all the other sources and herbs in your kitchen. Why not?
The other day I read the ingredient list for the store lemon pepper brand and the first ingredient was salt! Lemon essence and yellow #5 were the last two. I'll make my own any day over buying the store blend!
wally waldo Dogtown are the best, in my opinion. If only they had a chicken finger plate... I've heard rumors that Dragonfly is making pizza log plates. I love pizza logs but I'm not sure I can handle that much upstate NY food in one sitting. Just needs some wings for the trifecta lol
I love how your parchment paper looks all jagged and uneven, ...just like mine. Thanks for keeping it real and not getting all pretentious by trimming it to make it all even as and pretty.
Word to the wise, make sure to space your wings out well when doing the bake method. Otherwise, they won't crisp up. Proper spacing and no one will know they weren't fried. Such excellent advice, Babish!
