Why not look at the 15 year cases when none of that has happened. One of my oldest cases is on another dentist. One of the oldest cases I follow is 25 years old done by my mentor. Please don’t make stuff up. It does nothing for anyone.
@@donjose6520 everything can crack when it’s poorly bonded but you’re talking about dentistry like it’s a commodity or product rather than a service. You know what else is notorious for chipping and cracking over 25 years? Teeth… I can show you a million patients where that rings true. I can show you several hundred cases over 5 years old with no chipping and cracking. All my cases are feldspathic. If you have these types of problems, maybe you can understand the material is meaningless without the right conditions and your experience does not set the standards for what is possible.
@BiomimeticDentistry I've been around longer than you have. Cosmetic dentists like to show their successful cases which always look great in the beginning but never their failures. Today we have learned from our mistakes from the past, prep design, bonding materials, new instruments introduced, better techniques have all made these more successful.....but only time will tell. Your current technique doesn't exist 25 years ago .
